The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to work with our Marketing Operations team and marketing tech stack. The Marketing Operations Specialist will help optimize, troubleshoot, and manage our tech stack, with a primary focus on Marketing Automation and Salesforce campaign setup and management. The ideal candidate for this role is technical and business-savvy, with interests in both marketing and data, and has good communication skills. We are seeking a forward-thinking individual with a curiosity to learn and stay current in the marketing industry.
A Typical Day:
- A key priority of this role is to own, maintain and drive efficient, effective, and scalable Marketing Automation solutions for the marketing and sales teams utilizing Marketo and SFDC.
- Will be a contributor and owner to the optimization, execution, and measurement of marketing automation, account-based marketing, and CRM solutions.
- Collaborate with fellow marketers, sales professionals, business analysts and marketing leaders to ensure marketing execution meets desired outcomes and needs.
- Lead within the marketing technology team to build, QA, and support marketing campaign needs.
- Take guidance from our analyst to ensure proper implementation of tracking and the schema used for reporting & visualizations.
- Partner with senior roles to lead and provide systems and processes that enable organizational learning and insights for improved customer intelligence and messaging.
- Curiosity and willingness to ensure data is securely & effectively collected, managed, and shared across marketing and sales team systems.
- Ensure all security, availability, confidentiality, privacy policies, and internal controls are complied with.
- Gather and refine business requirements based on technical needs for marketing software purchases and partnerships
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Experience with B2B marketing with a preference for B2B SaaS experience, preferred
- Marketo Certified Professional is a must.
- Good technical skills, creativity, analytical abilities, and communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and theories
- Intermediate knowledge in marketing automation platforms, managing functions including supporting forms and landing pages, creating nurturing streams, progressive profiling, and lead scoring
- Intermediate knowledge in Salesforce, specifically lead routing rules and processes, and campaign setup and management
- Must be an energetic self-starter who works well independently and in a team setting
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
