About the Innovation Group 

The Innovation Group focuses on developing and optimizing the systems and processes that enable Collectively to deliver influencer marketing at scale. This team works closely with cross-functional colleagues across Production, Finance, Client Strategy, Analytics & Performance, and external Brandtech Group partners to ensure our tools and workflows support seamless campaign management and collaboration between internal teams and clients.

Role Overview

The Marketing Operations Systems Specialist is a hybrid technical and strategic role responsible for both the ongoing administration of our suite of tools, including our custom Airtable-based campaign management platform, and the executing on the product vision that drives our marketing tech stack evolution. This position requires a unique blend of database administration expertise and product skills, as the work ranges from maintaining data integrity and user access, to gathering stakeholder requirements, prioritizing feature development, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance our core operational systems. This role demands deep familiarity with database systems, data engineering, and AI integration; experience in product management or systems optimization; and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

ResponsibilitiesSystems Administration & Technical Management
  • Maintain and optimize our custom Airtable campaign management platform and Salesforce instance, ensuring data integrity, system performance, and user access controls  
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support across internal teams and client-facing workflows 
  • Design and implement cross-platform integrations using APIs, webhooks, and data sync protocols to ensure seamless data flow between systems
  • Oversee database structure, automations, and reporting capabilities to support campaign delivery at scale
  • Develop, maintain, and improve scripts to support automations within Airtable.
  • Implement data governance protocols and access control systems to ensure security and compliance across all platforms
  • Collaborate with Brandtech Group technical teams on cybersecurity, system enhancements and technical implementations 
  • Support ongoing updates and integrations with other tools we use, including CreatorIQ and Ironclad
  • Monitor system usage and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
AI Integration & Automation Strategy
  • Develop and implement AI-powered automations using Airtable's native AI features, LLM integrations, and other emerging AI tools to streamline campaign workflows
  • Research, evaluate, and adopt new AI-enabled functionality and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
  • Stay current on AI and automation trends in marketing technology and assess their potential application to our operations
Product & Strategy
  • Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and clients to identify system improvement opportunities 
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap for our campaign management tools and related systems 
  • Prioritize feature development based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility 
  • Work closely with executive and department leadership to align system capabilities with business objectives
  • Lead user training and change management for system updates and new feature rollouts 
  • Analyze user feedback and system usage data to inform product decisions and improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Client Strategy and Production teams to ensure tools support effective client collaboration and campaign delivery 
  • Work with Analytics & Performance team to integrate reporting and measurement capabilities into core systems 
  • Collaborate with leadership team to identify opportunities for operational efficiency through technology 
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members on core systems and workflows
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in database administration, systems management, or product management roles
  • Proven experience with Salesforce administration as well as Airtable or similar database platforms, including advanced features like automations, script development, integrations, webhook configurations, and API usage
  • Proven track record implementing AI-powered solutions and automation tools in business environments
  • Strong product management or business analysis background with experience gathering requirements and prioritizing feature development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience developing and delivering comprehensive training programs and change management initiatives
  • Familiarity with marketing technology stacks and campaign management workflows preferred
  • Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Experience in agency, SaaS, or fast-paced operational environments
  • Proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with senior leadership and technical partners

Pay

The pay range for this position is $120,000 – $138,000. Collectively takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
