About the role: 

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations & Strategy Lead to help build operational excellence and strategic clarity. This position is pivotal in shaping the marketing organization's strategy while focusing on efficiency, collaboration, and long-term goals. You will oversee marketing data infrastructure, optimize processes, and act as a unifying force between marketing, product, and community.

A bit about the work: 

  • Marketing Strategy & Alignment

    • Define and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives and growth goals.

    • Set measurable marketing objectives and KPIs, ensuring clarity in success metrics. 

  • Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

    • Build and implement scalable systems and workflows that improve marketing’s collaboration with our product and community teams

    • Integrate tools and technologies to streamline marketing execution and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Data-Driven Insights & Analytics

    • Own marketing data infrastructure to ensure robust tracking, reporting, and performance analytics.

    • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for actionable insights into campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition, and retention.

    • Partner with analytics teams to refine attribution models and maximize ROI on marketing spend.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration

    • Serve as the key bridge between marketing, product, and analytics teams to ensure strategic alignment.

    • Establish feedback mechanisms to integrate insights from product and other teams into marketing strategies.

  • Leadership & Team Development

    • Mentor and develop marketing team members, cultivating a high-performance and collaborative culture.

    • Hire and grow a strong marketing operations team to support organizational growth.

A bit about you: 

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or strategy roles.

  • 2+ years of experience managing a team

  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • A track record of designing and scaling consumer based processes that enhance collaboration and efficiency.

  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Confidence and clarity in driving change, influencing senior leaders, and holding teams accountable.

  • A meticulous approach to managing operations, data, and processes.

Location:

This is a hybrid role, preferably based in Los Angeles, as a majority of the Community Team is based there. Cantina, Inc. currently has offices located in San Francisco, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, and Brooklyn, NY.  

Pay Equity: 

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $175,000-$250,000 for those located in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City and Seattle, WA. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

Benefits Summary:

  • Health Care —  99% of premiums for medical, vision, dental are fully paid for by Cantina, plus One Medical membership.

  • Monthly Wellness Stipend — $500/month to use on whatever you’d like! 

  • Rest and Recharge — 15 PTO days per year, 10 sick days, all Federal holidays, and 2 floating holidays.
