The Marketing Operations Specialist will assist in the development of sales publications from the proofing phase through printing and distribution.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist with marketing program implementation and support.
- Proof all marketing related materials to ensure accuracy prior to deployment.
- Monitor release dates to ensure the sales field receives materials on time.
- Coordinate the direct shipment of marketing materials from printer to stores.
- Supervise vendor billing for participation in programs.
- Maintain the budget spreadsheet of marketing expenditures and credit letters.
- Develop internal communications for the company intranet as necessary.
- Follow up on questions from team members and vendors regarding programs, promotions, flyers, etc.
- Assist with grand openings and promotions as needed.
- Assist with special department projects as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with and knowledge of Adobe, Excel, and Word
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Comfortable in a team-oriented work environment
- Must be able to lift packages up to 40 lb
Desired:
- O’Reilly Auto Parts Store experience or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Queries or similar
- College degree with emphasis in Marketing or Advertising
