Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Investment Marketing Operations Lead to serve as the end-to-end owner of the investment collateral creation and production process. This is an individual contributor role (no people management) responsible for orchestrating the quarterly production cycle for investment materials, partnering closely with Investments, Marketing, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant deliverables.

This role acts as the central quarterback for investment content production—designing and managing workflows, improving efficiency, and streamlining the quarter-end process across strategies.

Core Responsibilities

Investment Collateral Production (Primary Focus)

  • Own the end-to-end process for creation, updates, and production of investment collateral, including fact sheets, commentaries, presentations, and related materials.

  • Serve as the single point of coordination across Investments, Marketing, Compliance, and external design/printing partners.

  • Translate inputs from investment teams into clear production plans with defined timelines, milestones, and ownership.

Quarter-End Production Leadership

  • Lead the quarter-end investment content production cycle, ensuring deadlines are met across all strategies.

  • Identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks early; proactively adjust workflows to maintain timelines.

  • Continuously refine and streamline quarter-end processes to reduce cycle time, rework, and manual effort.

Process & Workflow Management

  • Design, document, and maintain standardized workflows for investment content production.

  • Manage project tracking, version control, approvals, and handoffs across teams.

  • Partner with Compliance to ensure all materials meet regulatory and brand standards prior to release.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, marketing, compliance, and operations to align on priorities and delivery expectations.

  • Act as a trusted operational partner to the investment team, enabling them to focus on content and insights rather than logistics.

  • Coordinate with external vendors to manage production schedules, revisions, and delivery quality.

Continuous Improvement & Scale

  • Identify opportunities to introduce tools, templates, automation, or standardization to improve efficiency.

  • Develop best practices for repeatable, scalable investment content production as the platform grows.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field.

  • 6–10+ years of experience in marketing operations, investment marketing, creative services, or production management—preferably within investment management, asset management, or financial services.

  • Hands-on experience managing complex, deadline-driven production cycles (quarter-end experience strongly preferred).

  • Strong familiarity with investment collateral types and approval workflows.

  • Experience partnering with compliance and regulated content review processes.

  • Exceptional project and process management skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating independently.

  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

  • Process-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach.

The starting base salary is $115,000.00 to $140,000 plus applicable bonuses and incentives. The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
