Your Mission:
- Build the detection engineering community - create the gathering place where the world's brightest security minds collaborate and innovate

Required Skills & Experience:
Core Marketing Expertise:
- 5+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in cybersecurity, DevTools, or technical SaaS
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing programs from 0-1
- Deep understanding of developer and technical audience marketing
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- SEO/SEM expertise and content marketing strategy development
Content & Communication:
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities with technical accuracy
- Experience creating technical content for security professionals
- Video content creation and editing capabilities
- Public speaking and presentation skills for industry events
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives
- Experience with content management systems and editorial workflows
Community & Social Media:
- Proven success building and engaging technical communities
- Advanced social media marketing across LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Experience with community platforms (Discord, Slack, Reddit, GitHub)
- Understanding of developer relations and community-driven growth strategies
- Event marketing and conference management experience
- Influencer relationship building and management
Technical & Analytical:
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and detection engineering
- Data analysis and interpretation skills with ability to derive actionable insights
- A/B testing methodology and conversion rate optimization
- Marketing attribution modeling and ROI measurement
- CRM management and lead scoring implementation
- Growth hacking mindset with experimental approach to marketing
Digital Marketing:
- Paid advertising experience (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads)
- Email marketing strategy and execution
- Webinar planning, production, and promotion
- Marketing automation and lead nurturing workflows
- Conversion funnel optimization and user journey mapping
