As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining the regional messaging, marketing campaign assets and launch strategies in coordination with the VP of Operations or campus departments to ensure the success of Grand Canyon Education (GCE) marketing and student recruitment activities; acts as an advocate for the division, clearly positioning GCE within the community and constituents. This position is accountable to both the Senior Vice President of Operations or campus departments and the Vice President of Marketing.
MUST reside in Phoenix, Arizona.
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
Plan and execute division marketing plan(s) by leveraging dedicated marketing back-end support staff. In collaboration with the division leader and the marketing team, formulates and manages budgets across multiple marketing channels. Manage staff with responsibility and accountability for performance and results; coaches, counsels, mentors, appraises performance and makes employment decisions. Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including marketing plans, competitive analysis, event overviews, ROI analytics/performance metrics to executive team. Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsibilities of supervision include providing direction of work, coaching, counseling, advising staff, appraising performance, establishing & communicating performance measurements, indicators and results, and making employment decisions
Experience/ Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- A combination of experience and education may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within higher education.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
