JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Support Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns, including the creation of marketing materials, coordination of distribution, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with business segment leadership, marketing peers, and other internal teams to ensure marketing efforts are consistent across the organization.
- Project Management: Track project timelines, coordinate meetings, and manage communication to ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.
- Media & Sponsorship Support: Help coordinate media and sponsorship opportunities by working with internal stakeholders to maintain the company's presence in the marketplace.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform marketing strategies.
- Analytics & Reporting: Assist in gathering and analyzing data to track campaign performance, providing insights to refine marketing tactics.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of team members and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Works well within a collaborative environment and can build strong relationships with colleagues and partners.
- Strong organizational and timely, proactive communication skills is a must.
- Understanding of marketing fundamentals, including branding, messaging, and media strategies, as well as relevant digital channels and platforms.
- Proven ability to develop messaging that furthers CNA's brand and positively positions CNA in the marketplace.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners.
- Detail oriented with good analytical skills, and ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite as well as other business-related software.
- Experience in media relations and insurance a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, with a focus on supporting marketing campaigns, media, or branding efforts.
- Experience in insurance, particularly Commercial Property and Casualty, a plus.
