The Marketing Manager oversees Field Brand Ambassadors, manages promotional campaigns, coordinates events, and ensures brand visibility across stores.
The Marketing Manager ensures that our Viamericas brand shows up powerfully in stores, manages the Field Brand Ambassador team, runs seasonal and charitable promotions like Mother’s Day, and Viamistad, organize and coordinate special events for individual stores or chains, and coordinates winback campaigns with the Go-To-Market Managers. They act as a bridge between our field teams and marketing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Directly manage the FBA team across regions.
- Set weekly schedules and daily routes. Manage in-day adjustments.
- Monitor and help improve performance, including KPI of new customer acquisition, store visit quality, coverage consistency, incremental transactions.
- Review daily reports, photos, and survey data collected. Follow up with individuals on gaps or inconsistencies.
- Conduct regular field visits and 1:1 check-ins where you provide coaching and support.
- Track and calculate weekly and monthly commissions. Ensure timely and accurate payouts.
- Identify and address underperformance, while recognizing high performers.
- Lead recruiting, interviewing and onboarding of new FBAs whenever an expansion or turnover occurs.
- Ensure all FBAs have their required, training, education on corridor and products, signage, promotional materials, and tools to perform their duties.
- Coordinate with operations for vehicle maintenance and usage.
- Maintain consistent communication and alignment with Sales team for store scheduling and results.
- Execute the store-level surveys as required.
- Advocate for FBA needs surfacing issues and recommending process improvements.
- Produce regular performance reports and key insights to leadership.
- Support the planning and execution of national and seasonal campaigns including Mother’s Day and End of Year.
- Align with Go-To-Market Managers and Sales on event priorities, store or corridor targets, and messaging.
- Help define annual and monthly event budgets and forecast, track spend and ensure alignment to plan.
- Produce post-event reports with clear metrics and insights.
- Support sales-led store or chain activations with promotional items and local media buys.
- Coordinate and negotiate with Media Agencies for local media executions, vendors, and event organizers.
- Source and manage event materials in coordination with Viamall and Creative teams.
- Deploy FBAs as needed for field activation and store-level support.
- Ensure proper staffing, logistics, and resource allocation for each event.
- Visit stores to oversee event execution and collect real-time feedback.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Tech, Legal, Operations, and others to ensure proper execution of events.
- Keep a centralized calendar of national, regional, and ad-hoc events (i.e., one-off or unscheduled events planned for specific needs).
- Make sure you and your team read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas’ Staff Information Security Policy.
- Make sure you and your team attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas’.
- Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years related work experience.
- Proven ability to manage people, field operations and promotional campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with budgeting and vendor management.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Ability to travel within the US.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proficient in SalesForce.
- Experience cross-functionally working with Sales, Operations and Legal teams.
- Able to manage shifting priorities, tight timelines and multiple events concurrently.
Working Conditions
- working remotely and in the field as needed. frequent travel (foreign and domestic) is required. Special working conditions are required and cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working with challenging clients, and so forth.
