We are seeking an experienced and strategic marketing leader to drive the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing initiatives for our counseling division. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop data-driven marketing strategies, manage multi-channel campaigns, and ensure alignment with the University’s overall brand and marketing vision.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in digital and traditional marketing, a passion for developing compelling brand messaging, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies that attract and engage prospective students. This position also plays a key role in shaping long-term marketing direction, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering measurable results through performance tracking and analytics.

MUST reside in the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area

Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:

1. Plan and execute counseling division marketing plan(s) by leveraging dedicated marketing back-end support staff.

2. In collaboration with the counseling division leader and the marketing team, formulate and manage budgets across multiple marketing channels.

3. Act as advisor to counseling division leader on the development of the marketing plan, providing guidelines and advice on the coordination of the marketing plan to the University’s main marketing strategy, ensuring sound marketing principles are utilized.

4. Devise plans and strategies to maintain a single unified marketing brand.

5. Develop compelling and appealing brand positioning, messaging and value to attract prospective students.

6. Contribute to the future marketing vision based on market trends and competitive insights.

7. Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including marketing plans, competitive analysis, event overviews, ROI analytics/performance metrics to executive team.

8. Help to facilitate internal communications across the University as related to campaign efforts.

9. Recommend process changes, tracking methods for better efficiency and prepares daily and weekly reports, performance metrics and projections to executive/management team(s).

10. Collaborate with other staff in ensuring University web-based content, policy and procedures manuals are accurate and up to date.

11. Assist or provides guidance in facilitating internal communications across the University as related to campaign efforts.

12. Stay abreast of current industry trends, marketing principles and techniques, technology trends and recommends University solutions.

13. Subscribe to and supports the University’ guiding principles.

14. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position may manage the following positions:  Marketing Coordinators or Specialists and/or Marketing Project Managers.

Experience/  Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; master’s degree is preferred.

  • A combination of experience and education may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing or related field preferred.

  • Specific background must include marketing experience within multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, event planning, print, direct mail, television and radio.

  • Prior management experience.

  • Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
