Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Our Experiences team puts fans at the center of their favorite stories, in real life, through permanent entertainment venues, Netflix House, and touring attractions around the world. Netflix Houses are our permanent, always-on, constantly refreshable entertainment venues, where guests can step into their favorite stories. We want these experiences, along with merchandise offerings, to help promote love for our titles so they become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time and drive long-term value for Netflix.

As the Manager, Marketing, you will lead campaign strategy and execution to support the launch and growth of Netflix House in new markets and supporting campaign development to grow demand and visitation in existing markets. This includes shaping brand perception, creating high-impact campaign frameworks, and ensuring creative consistency across all touchpoints. You’ll partner with brand, marcomms, creative, production, insights, and operations teams to bring launch campaigns to life, while aligning campaign efforts with the overarching Netflix brand and relevant title campaign moments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development of integrated campaigns for new and existing Netflix House locations, from strategy through execution, with a focus on driving demand and ticket sales.

  • Shape and evolve the Netflix House brand identity, ensuring it is compelling, consistent, and scalable across markets and channels.

  • Ensure seamless integration of Netflix House campaigns with relevant Netflix title launches, leveraging cultural moments to drive buzz and visitation.

  • Partner with cross-functional Marcomms teams to support cohesive multi-channel execution.

  • Collaborate with insights and brand strategy teams to understand target audiences and develop positioning that resonates locally and globally.

  • Elevate in-venue offerings (retail, food & beverage, games and experiences) into standalone branded propositions—aligned with Netflix’s storytelling ethos but capable of drawing their own followings.

  • Drive strategic messaging that builds long-term brand love and repeat visitation, and grow ticket sales.

  • Act as the operational and strategic lead for launch campaigns, managing milestones, cross-functional taskforces, and seek stakeholder alignment.

  • Lead campaign recaps and share learnings across internal teams to continuously improve the national and global marketing playbook.

  • Identify opportunities to refine workflows and improve campaign efficiency through better tools, process, or team coordination.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in retail, hospitality or live entertainment based marketing with deep understanding of tactics that drive ticket sales and visitation

  • Strong understanding of how to drive buzz and excitement for new launches

  • Comfort in ambiguity and thrives in fast paced environments

  • Ability to cultivate relationships and efficiently communicate across multiple cross-functional partners - internal, external and agency partners

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature

  • Strong team focus with outstanding organizational and resource management skills

  • Respect, understanding and enthusiasm for Netflix culture

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
