We're looking for a Marketing Manager | Integrations who will be responsible for architecting and continuously evolving the marketing integration model from signed Letter of Intent through 90+ days post-close ensuring newly acquired advisor teams transition smoothly, adopt WEG’s marketing ecosystem, and activate measurable growth early in their partnership. As Wealth Enhancement Group continues to grow through increasingly sophisticated and upmarket acquisitions, the Marketing Manager | Integrations plays a critical leadership role in translating complex M&A activity into scalable, growth-driven marketing outcomes.

The Marketing Manager | Integrations currently leads a team of two onboarding project managers and operates confidently in ambiguous, high-visibility deal environments. This individual must be comfortable navigating large firms, influencing without authority, surfacing risks before they materialize, and driving clarity where precedent does not exist.

Success in this role requires a bias toward action, executive presence, operational discipline, and the ability to transform one-off integrations into repeatable, scalable systems. This is a true player-coach role. While responsible for strategic oversight and model evolution, this manager must also be willing to step into day-to-day execution when deal volume or complexity requires it.

Success requires close collaboration across departments and a willingness to lead from the front staying close to the work while elevating the model.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 to $130,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. This role is also eligible for our corporate bonus. We encourage you to apply and provide us with your compensation expectations when you do. We’re big on open conversations, so, let’s have one.

Primary Job Functions

Strategic Marketing Integration Leadership

  • Serve as the marketing lead from signed LOI through 90+ days post-close, translating deal complexity into clear, actionable integration plans.

  • Share accountability for both strategic direction and day-to-day execution across integrations.

  • Partner with M&A, Integration, Advisor Services, Technology, and Leadership teams to align marketing strategy with broader transition objectives.

  • Provide executive-level clarity on integration risks, readiness, and growth opportunities.

  • Surface potential friction points early and proactively escalate where necessary.

  • Operate effectively in ambiguous situations where prior models may not exist.

  • Work collaboratively across teams to solve integration challenges in real time, ensuring alignment within our offerings, while minimizing exceptions where possible.

Growth Acceleration & Revenue Orientation

  • Align marketing onboarding to measurable growth outcomes — not just brand transition.

  • Identify early-stage New Client New Money (NCNM) and Existing Client New Money (ECNM) activation opportunities.

  • Support the development of a structured growth roadmap for each acquired firm.

  • Identify repeatable revenue levers across integrations and formalize them into scalable playbooks.

  • Track and report on KPIs including onboarding timelines, early marketing adoption, and growth activation milestones.

Pre-Close Marketing Strategy, Assessment & Risk Framework

  • Lead marketing diligence and readiness assessments pre‑close, partnering with M&A and Integration to shape integration strategy, resourcing, and growth expectations before APA.

  • Assess prior marketing strategy, spend, brand positioning, client experience, digital presence, vendor dependencies, and growth potential.

  • Help translate findings into clear risk summaries and opportunity briefs for internal stakeholders.

  • Flag unique integration requirements early to inform resourcing, budgeting, and sequencing.

  • Evaluate external vendor relationships and determine alignment or transition strategy.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop two onboarding project managers to operate with increasing autonomy and accountability.

  • Establish clear performance expectations, deadlines, and execution rigor.

  • Lead as a true player-coach — setting direction while remaining closely engaged in integrations.

  • Take ownership of outcomes by stepping directly into execution when needed to maintain pace and protect advisor experience.

  • Work side-by-side with project managers during critical moments, modeling standards and decision-making in real time.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure project managers are prepared, proactive, and solution-oriented in stakeholder and team interactions.

Scalable Integration Model & Operational Innovation

  • Continuously evolve and standardize the marketing integration framework to support larger, more complex acquisitions.

  • Build repeatable onboarding milestones, communication cadences, and integration toolkits.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI and system enhancements.

  • Improve day-to-day workflows, documentation clarity, and execution discipline to strengthen consistency across integrations.

  • Leverage platforms such as Wrike, Salesforce, FMG Suite, and DealRoom to increase transparency and reduce friction.

  • Create executive-level dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.

  • Transform one-off integration learnings into documented best practices.

Relationship & Change Management

  • Serve as a primary marketing ambassador to newly acquired advisor teams.

  • Stay closely connected to live deal activity to ensure speed, clarity, and advisor confidence throughout transition. Confidently engage advisors during sensitive transitions.

  • Balance empathy with decisiveness in change management conversations.

  • Facilitate marketing platform training and subject matter expert introductions.

  • Ensure marketing systems, branding, and communication tools are fully operational to support client engagement at close.

  • Coordinate structured handoff to Regional Marketing Specialists and Premium Marketing programs.

Cross-Functional Integration & Handoff

  • Partner with Marketing Consultants beginning approximately two months post-close to ensure seamless transition into ongoing growth support in Advisor Marketing

  • Ensure foundational marketing elements are completed, documented, and positioned for acceleration at handoff.

  • Define and operationalize clean transition processes into WEG’s centralized marketing ecosystem such as team name change, spin offs and more.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • Reduced onboarding cycle time without sacrificing quality.

  • Clear executive reporting framework for marketing integration performance.

  • Repeatable integration toolkit built for upmarket and complex transactions.

  • 100% of acquired teams launch with documented marketing plan

  • Early marketing adoption and measurable growth engagement within first 90 days.

  • Strong advisor satisfaction and internal stakeholder confidence in marketing integration.

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, M&A integration, operations, or complex project leadership.

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or advisor marketing strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in high-growth environments.

  • Proven experience managing and developing team members.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Experience navigating ambiguity and driving clarity without complete information.

  • Strong operational discipline with a bias toward action.

  • AI-savvy mindset with interest in leveraging automation and systemization to increase scale.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple integrations simultaneously.

  • Experience working on M&A integrations or founder-led firm transitions preferred.

  • Salesforce or CRM system experience.

  • Marketing automation and digital platform experience.

  • Change management, onboarding, or training program development.

  • Advanced project workflow documentation and dashboard reporting experience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
