Who We Are

Impiricus is the next-gen, ecosystem bridging the gap between HCPs and healthcare through multi-directional communication powered by AI. Founded by a practicing physician and a senior pharmaceutical executive, Impiricus was created to cut through the noise and put physician care delivery at the forefront. With our unique access to HCPs, their insights, and clinical expertise, we are committed to providing life science companies with innovations needed to deliver clear, reliable, and evidence-based resources into the hands of HCPs. Guided by a council of trusted physician advisors, we ensure every message leads to better patient care. Our latest product, DocUpdate, is transforming mobile prescribing for doctors — eliminating outdated workflows and making it easier to prescribe on the go.

Job Summary:

We're hiring an Influencer, Affiliate, and Community Marketing Manager to help scale DocUpdate through authentic physician voices. This person will lead DocUpdate’s external brand presence — managing physician influencers, building an affiliate network, driving user-generated content (UGC), and helping build a strong organic footprint across social channels. This is a creator-first role: you’ll work directly with real doctors, help them share their experiences, and turn their stories into content that drives trust, downloads, and activation.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Influencer Partnerships
    • Source, vet, and manage physician influencers across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Own influencer outreach — from building target lists to DMs/emails to negotiations.
    • Coordinate creative approvals, ensuring messaging highlights mobile prescribing, fast pharmacy support, and NPI verification.
    • Track and analyze influencer performance and manage paid amplification (whitelisting best creators).
  • Affiliate Program Management
    • Launch and manage a physician-only affiliate program for DocUpdate.
    • Develop onboarding materials: referral links, promo kits, content templates.
    • Create incentive and bonus structures to drive verified signups.
    • Grow and nurture affiliate relationships through direct outreach, webinars, and incentives.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC) & Organic Social
    • Launch monthly UGC campaigns: content prompts, challenges, contests.
    • Repurpose influencer and UGC content across DocUpdate’s Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    • Collaborate with design to create reels, short videos, and carousels featuring physician stories.
    • Help shape DocUpdate’s organic social voice — authentic, physician-first, not corporate.
  • Community Growth
    • Engage with physician groups (Facebook groups, LinkedIn communities) to build brand conversation.
    • Seed discussions about DocUpdate organically without heavy selling.
    • Support podcast sponsorships and webinar activations targeting practicing physicians.

Experience:

  • 3–6 years experience in influencer marketing, affiliate management, or community building (healthcare or B2B2C a plus).
  • Strong networker — comfortable pitching and building relationships with creators and doctors.
  • Sharp eye for great content: you know good UGC when you see it.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented: can manage outreach lists, campaign calendars, and performance tracking.
  • Solid writing skills — able to write DMs, briefs, emails, and light social copy naturally.
  • Bonus: experience using FirstPromoter, Impact, or similar creator management tools.

Benefits:

Impiricus focuses on taking care of our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.

  • Full support and career-development opportunities to expand your skills, enhance your expertise, and maximize your potential along your career journey;
  • A diverse and inclusive community of belonging, where teammates are empowered to bring ideas to the table and act;
  • Generous Total Rewards Plan including comprehensive healthcare (health, dental, vision), life insurance, unlimited PTO, and 401K matching.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
