Summary of Position

The Marketing Manager - CRM will serve as Nexon America’s primary expert and of the Iterable platform, responsible for leading end-to-end player lifecycle marketing across multiple titles. Reporting to the Senior Manager, CRM + Social, this role will define strategy, oversee campaign execution, and drive measurable impact through email, SMS, and push communications across onboarding, engagement, retention, and monetization funnels.

This is a high-autonomy role requiring deep technical expertise in Iterable, a performance-driven mindset, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Brand, Live Ops, and Analytics.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and deploy all email, SMS, and push notification campaigns, win-back programs and player lifecycle initiatives. Project manage and liaise with stakeholders (Brand, Production, Creative, Web Dev, Business Intelligence, etc.) to create impactful owned-channel marketing campaigns and ensure quality from start to end
  • Act as Iterable expert internally — build, QA, optimize, and troubleshoot complex journeys, segmentation logic, and performance reporting. Monitor email deliverability and ensure best practices are met for data privacy, opt-in standards, creative, etc.
  • Create benchmark data and best practices for future initiatives from internal products and competitors. Optimize email/SMS/Landing page campaigns through continual testing of creative, messaging, targeting, etc
  • Monitor email and CRM results for optimizations and ensure KPIs are being met while providing recommendations based on results
  • Ad-hoc reports and other duties as assigned

Work Experience

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with owned-channel marketing (email, push, SMS, landing pages, etc.) marketing with knowledge of best practices and optimizations in the digital space
  • Hands on experience executing multiple CRM campaigns in a fast-paced environment from planning to deployment
  • Experience in building GTM plans with clear goals and tactics, and compiling post-mortem reports after each campaign
  • Proven track record of creating, implementing and optimizing email and push programs to meet business goals
  • Experience running triggered email campaigns and making optimizations throughout the program period
  • Ability to develop structured and ad hoc campaign reports incorporating multiple data points from product, website, campaigns, etc.
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems calmly without losing focus of the original goals or objectives
  • Experience managing multiple projects with cross-functional teams
  • Gaming or Entertainment experience a plus but not required
  • Experience owning multiple IP’s or brands is a plus
  • Basic HTML knowledge, data pipelines, and integrations is a plus

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field
  • Graduate Degree a plus

Knowledge/Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Email Marketing Solutions such as Iterable, SFMC, Braze, etc.
  • Organization & Detail: Very organized with excellent time-management and project management skills, maintaining impeccable attention to details, deadlines, and accuracy.
  • Communication: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while maintaining an ability to always stay focused on the work at hand.
  • Self-Motivation: Results-driven personality who is self-motivated, able to manage priorities with self-sufficiency, and consistently deliver high quality work despite managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for entertaining people and excited to be part of a team that works the same way.
  • Application of critical thinking and analysis to projects and workflow.
  • Ability to take direction, be solution driven and manage priorities with self-sufficiency with potential remote team members.
  • Adept at managing up and in partnership with a complex matrix of partners across regions.
  • JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and/or other project management tools (Preferred).
  • Microsoft Office & Google Suite experience.

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $80,000 - $95,000 annually.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
