The Marketing Analytics team, part of Marketing Analytics and Operations, partners closely with Marketing leaders and team members across Growth Marketing, Partner Marketing, Brand, Digital, and Sales Development to transform data into insights that inform and drive business decisions. We use data to understand customer behaviour, measure campaign effectiveness, optimize marketing investments, and uncover growth opportunities.
As a summer intern on the team, you will gain hands-on experience working with marketing data to support analytics projects and learn how data and analysis influences decision making in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, paid internship located in our Boston, MA office. Candidates must be able to come to the office 4 days a week.
Your role at DynatraceWe are seeking a motivated undergraduate student with a curious mind and a strong interest in data and analysis to join us this Summer. This intern will support marketing analytics initiatives while gaining exposure to marketing performance measurement, data analysis, and storytelling with data. This position is ideal for a student who enjoys working with data, is curious about how marketing decisions are made, and is eager to learn in a collaborative professional setting.
Responsibilities- Assist in analyzing marketing performance data across customer segments, marketing campaigns, and channels (e.g. paid media, email, events, etc.)
- Clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources
- Conduct analysis to answer business questions and support decision-making
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights
- Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and learning sessions
- Assist in creating and compiling content to promote data proficiency and adoption of Marketing Analytics products across our Marketing stakeholders
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or related fields
- Comfortable working in Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, basic data manipulation)
- Ability to think analytically and explain findings clearly
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL, and Python
- Coursework in Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or similar
- Relevant work or project experience: up to 1 Year

Hourly pay rate: $26/hour
- Full-time: 40 hours/week
10 Weeks: June 8th – August 14th
Hybrid: 4 days/week in our Boston, MA Office and Work-from-home on Fridays
