Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Marketing Events Manager to direct and lead BPM-hosted and sponsored events throughout BPM’s key geographies. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can bring creative ideas to life. This role will manage numerous events and sponsorships aligned with our target industries and service lines, working closely with Go-to-Market and Demand Generation teams to maximize impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Build, manage, and lead BPM-hosted and sponsored events in priority geographies, ensuring alignment with our industries and service lines.
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of in-person events and sponsorships.
- Partner with firm leadership, Go-to-Market, and Demand Generation teams to set event goals, strategies, and ensure cross-functional alignment.-
- Proactively propose event participation/sponsorships to firm leaders and support their event requests.
- Manage event logistics (budgets, vendors, venues, catering, travel, and onsite setup).
- Create and manage event timelines, communications, and registration processes.
- Track budgets and expenses, ensuring events stay on target.
- Collect and share post-event feedback and insights to measure success.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, venues, and partners.
- Brainstorm and develop new event ideas to engage clients and employees.
- Engage a team of administrative support personnel when applicable to oversee office-based events.
- Support overall marketing and business development goals through creative event strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
- 6+ years of experience in marketing event management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in managing events within a professional services environment.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Experience with event platforms and marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Budget management experience and a knack for negotiation.
- A creative, flexible, and proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel and work some evenings or weekends for events.
