Our headquarters are located in San Francisco and we have additional offices in Knoxville, TN and New York City with employees working remotely in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, D.C. All employees are required to have permanent residency in one of these states. Candidates who are willing to relocate are also encouraged to apply. 

Candidates based in the Bay Area, New York City, and Knoxville, Tennessee will be give priority consideration. For these locations, the position will follow a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week in office and the remaining days working from home.

Job Title: Marketing & Events CoordinatorWhy This Role Matters:

The Marketing Program Manager at Verana Health is a full-time hybrid position located in the San Francisco office. This is an ideal opportunity to be a critical part of our growing marketing team. You will participate in and coordinate various facets of our marketing function, gaining hands-on exposure to event management (both virtual and in-person), digital marketing, brand management, product marketing, and marketing operations. If you are a self-starter looking to learn how a holistic marketing department operates in the healthcare space, this role is for you.

Reports to: VP MarketingResponsibilities:Events & Conference Management: 
  • Tradeshow/Conference Operations: Manage the planning, management, and execution of our trade show/conference activity
    • Collaborate with vendors to determine booth requirements (layout and design, setup, A/V, signage, etc.) 
    • Work with event organizers to secure booth/exhibit space
    • Manage the hotel booking and event registration for booth staff
    • Coordinate marketing activities and materials for tradeshows and conferences
    • Research and secure venues to suit planned activities including receptions, client meetings, and team events at tradeshows
    • Coordinate logistical requirements such as equipment rentals, transportation, and food & beverage/catering services
    • Provide on-site events support as required, working with vendors to coordinate setup with staff to ensure the completion of a successful event. 
  • Virtual Events Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact with panelists 
    • Coordinate webinar practice sessions/technical walkthroughs with panelists
    • Moderate webinar, as required
Communications:
  • Marketing Operations & Communications
    • Medical Society Announcements
      • Work with the practice experience team to create and send emails to medical society practices via Hubspot
    • Website
      • Ensure website is kept up-to-date with marketing collateral and event notifications
    • Social Media
      • Plan monthly LinkedIn posts to promote events, press releases, industry articles, etc on company and CEO LinkedIn accounts
  • Brand and Marketing Resources
    • Partner with Product Management, Data & Sciences and Operations teams to maintain and update marketing resources such as datasheets, event information, master deck, company logos, email signature templates
  • Quarterly Marketing Content Data Refreshes
    • Collaborate with the Product team to populate the therapeutic area (Ophthalmology, Neurology, Urology, and Oncology) dataset updates across datasheets, sales presentation materials, and website.
    • Own medical society relations (American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Urological Association) monthly meetings to provide updates, inquire approvals for press releases, industry publications, and plan society events. 
    • Work with the Practice Experience team to create monthly newsletter content contributions.
  • Other:
    • Support various marketing projects and teams, as assigned at the direction of the VP of Marketing 
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (open to entry-level candidates and recent graduates).
  • Prior internship or hands-on experience in event coordination or marketing is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress, and LinkedIn Administration and/or Campaign Management is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces at once.
  • A self-starter mindset with a strong interest in the healthcare, medical device, or health-tech industries.
  • 0-2 years experience with a degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
