## Role Summary
American Cyber is seeking a Field Marketing Director (Contract/1099) to lead regional marketing initiatives that drive demand generation, pipeline creation, and revenue impact. This role partners closely with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders while operating with a high degree of independence and accountability for outcomes.

* Regional focus: Chicago region
* Travel: Required as needed for events, partner activities, and customer engagements
## What You’ll Do
* Develop and execute regional field marketing strategies aligned to corporate objectives, sales targets, and growth priorities
* Plan, launch, and optimize integrated campaigns across digital, email, events, webinars, and partner channels
* Own end-to-end execution of field initiatives (hosted events, industry conferences, executive roundtables, and webinars)
* Partner with Sales to design and run account-based marketing (ABM) programs for strategic accounts
* Use CRM and marketing automation tools to segment audiences, manage campaigns, and track performance
* Measure and report campaign effectiveness (pipeline contribution, ROI, conversion rates) and recommend improvements based on data
* Manage external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality delivery and brand consistency
* Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform regional positioning and messaging
* Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring disciplined spend and performance against plan
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
* 7+ years of B2B marketing experience; cybersecurity industry experience strongly preferred
* Proven track record of building and executing programs that generate measurable pipeline and revenue impact
* Hands-on experience with ABM strategy and execution
* Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or equivalent)
* Strong analytical skills with experience in performance measurement, attribution, and campaign optimization
* Experience managing agencies, vendors, and event partners
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and geographically distributed environment
## Engagement Terms (1099 Contractor)
* This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement and does not constitute an employment relationship
* You retain discretion over the manner and means of performing services, consistent with agreed objectives and timelines
* Compensation structure (hourly, retainer, or project-based) will be defined in a separate agreement
* Contractor is responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, and business expenses unless otherwise specified
