Marketing Director - US

Pixi Beauty is one of the fastest-growing independent beauty brands, globally recognized for our skin-loving makeup and skincare solutions. As we expand in the US market, this role plays a critical part in bringing the Pixi experience to life through community, creators and elevated eventing.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing & Culture Officer, the Marketing Director - US leads the execution and rollout of Pixi’s global marketing plans across the United States, with a major focus on eventing, creator relations, reporting and accountability. This role is the senior day-to-day lead in LA, ensuring the US marketing team is organized, aligned, delivering on time and working at the level expected of a global beauty brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, support and mentor the US marketing team while setting clear expectations and workflows.
- Establish a culture of accountability, ensuring each team member understands deliverables, timelines and KPIs.
- Serve as the senior point of contact in LA for cross-functional teams, ensuring strong alignment despite time-zone differences.
2. Reporting, Tracking & Performance Management (Top Priority)
Reporting is a core responsibility of this role and essential for keeping the US team aligned, consistent and accountable.
- Own weekly and monthly reporting across:
- Influencer activity and deliverables
- Creator content and performance
- Event attendance, impact and content output
- PR sample sends and asset needs
- Campaign execution status
- Affiliate and virtual event performance
- Deliver structured, concise and insight-led updates to the CMCO and global leadership.
- Implement reporting systems and routines that ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Identify gaps quickly, escalate risks and propose solutions to keep workstreams on track.
3. US Market Execution & Rollout
- Implement global marketing plans into strong, timely, on-brand US execution.
- Ensure all components (events, creator activity, PR support, content, social, seeding) are delivered accurately and punctually.
- Align closely with global direction while activating relevant local opportunities that enhance impact.
4. Influencer, Creator & Community Execution
- Build and deepen relationships with US creators, influencers, VIPs and affiliates.
- Oversee daily gifting, seeding, creator communication and content support.
- Ensure community remains central to everything we do, reinforcing loyalty and brand affinity.
5. PR Support & Sample Management
- Manage product allocations, sample coordination and shipping for press, creators and partners.
- Ensure all assets, images, messaging and product lists are accurate and delivered on time.
- Keep an organized and well-tracked system for US sample inventory and outgoing shipments.
6. Events & Experiential Leadership
- Weekly Influencer Events
- Develop and execute weekly events across key US markets targeting local creators.
- Build concepts tied to launches, seasonal themes, cultural moments and community needs.
- Oversee all logistics: RSVPs, timelines, budgets, vendor partners, content capture and recaps.
- Boutique Event Maximization
- Turn Pixi boutiques into ongoing creator hubs with consistent, intimate, high-impact events.
- Host creator gatherings, meet-ups, tutorials, mini masterclasses and content sessions.
- Ensure boutiques feel welcoming, elevated and aligned with Pixi brand values.
- Virtual Masterclasses & Affiliate Engagement
- Plan and host virtual sessions for affiliates and creators tied into:
- Launches
- Campaign themes
- ShopMy programs
- Seasonal education moments
- Coordinate presenters, product lists, assets, run-of-show and creator follow-ups.
- Plan and host virtual sessions for affiliates and creators tied into:
- Event Reporting
- Provide next-day highlights and insights following every event.
- Deliver full event reports weekly, including content output, creator engagement, impact and recommendations.
7. Campaign Rollout & Cross-Functional Delivery
- Implement US deliverables for global campaigns (assets, timelines, content needs, seeding, creator involvement).
- Work closely with Creative, Digital, Social, Operations and Education to ensure readiness.
- Flag bottlenecks quickly and keep all teams aligned.
8. Brand Stewardship
- Uphold Pixi’s tone, aesthetic and values across all US execution.
- Ensure creator and community experiences consistently reflect Pixi’s warm, elevated, skin-loving brand identity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in beauty or a related consumer category, with deep involvement in:
- Event production
- Creator/influencer programs
- Community building
- Campaign execution
- Experience leading teams and managing high-volume execution
Skills & Attributes:
- Highly organized, structured and detail focused.
- Strong communicator with natural leadership presence.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple workstreams.
