The Marketing Director will lead brand management for a new Infant Nutrition segment, overseeing strategy, product launches, and cross-functional alignment while coaching junior team members.
As a Marketing Director or Sr. Brand Manager, Infant Nutrition, you will lead and/or oversee day-to-day management of brand activities to help build an entirely new business segment within the Munchkin brand. You will play a key role in developing marketing strategy and work cross-functionally to launch a new category, grow market share and achieve financial objectives on this entrepreneurial new team. Specific responsibilities will include category development, new product launches, channel strategy, competitive analysis, and vendor management.

What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Brand Ownership• Own and evolve the strategic roadmap for Munchkin's Infant Nutrition category to align with corporate objectives and consumer insights.• Drive annual brand planning, including business reviews, opportunity mapping, and multi-year growth strategies.• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the Infant Nutrition category-translating trends, data, and competitive activity into strategic actions.• Champion consumer-centric thinking and define a differentiated brand positioning that drives relevance and loyalty.• Lead cross-functional alignment across Product Development, Creative, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to execute on brand goals.
Managerial & Team Leadership• Manage, coach, and develop junior brand team members or cross-functional contributors to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives and long-term team growth.• Lead cross-functional project teams, setting direction, driving accountability, and fostering collaboration to meet timelines and goals.• Serve as a mentor and thought leader within the broader Marketing team, promoting best practices and knowledge-sharing.
Go-to-Market Execution & Marketing Innovation• Lead the full lifecycle of new product development within Infant Nutrition-from concept through launch-including packaging, pricing, claims, and channel strategy.• Develop and execute integrated marketing plans across digital, retail, and experiential touchpoints.• Partner with external agencies and vendors to drive media campaigns, creative development, and performance marketing.• Oversee brand budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources across campaigns and programs.
Performance & Growth Optimization• Monitor and analyze performance metrics (POS, consumer insights, digital analytics) to optimize strategies and ROI.• Recommend business-building initiatives, including new channel strategies, white space innovation, or portfolio extensions.• Support retail and eCommerce teams with compelling sell-in stories and category-building recommendations.
Bring It! • 7+ plus years of prior marketing brand management experience within CPG• BA degree required, MBA degree highly preferred• Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional teams• Product launch experience• Start Up Experience is a plus• Strong presentation skills for senior management and retailer presentations• Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills
