Job Summary

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies for Traction Americas and Europe, focusing on driving revenue growth through effective commercial and industrial marketing initiatives and spearhead the market expansion strategy for our cutting-edge propulsion solutions.

Job Description

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives to drive maximum revenue and profit growth
  • Direct pricing strategies and strategic marketing initiatives across multiple markets and channels, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Implement strategic actions to enhance operating profit through targeted marketing and process improvements
  • Conduct market intelligence analysis to identify trends, customer pain points, and untapped opportunities in Traction applications
  • Collaborate with R&D to translate technical advantages into compelling value propositions
  • Work closely with regional sales teams to develop high-impact sales collateral and case studies
  • Present marketing strategies and results to executive leadership and stakeholders, advocating for necessary resources and support
  • Manage marketing communications to align Nidec brand strategy and the brand image to increase brand value and customer loyalty
  • Participating in related industry marketing events to promote our brand
  • Collaboration with MOTION/MOEN marketing on regional marketing matters

Additional Job Details

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related majors, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the motor/vehicle industry and B2B business model
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, content development, and demand generation, with a comprehensive understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of the motor and related industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, customer data, and performance metrics, driving informed decision-making
  • Proven track record of ‌developing go-to-market strategies‌ for motor or related automation products
  • Proven leadership capability to develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team
  • Proficient in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to travel.
