Launchpoint is hiring on behalf of our internal Marketing partner, Aura Creations Marketing. At Launchpoint & Aura, words aren’t filler, they’re fuel. We move fast, execute hard, and expect every sentence to pull its weight. As a Copywriter, you’ll transform client goals into copy that cuts through noise, connects with audiences, and drives measurable results.

This isn’t just about writing, it’s about strategy, clarity, and conversion. If you’re ready to craft copy that makes people stop, think, and act, then you’ll thrive here.

Role Overview

The Copywriter is responsible for creating persuasive, conversion-driven content across client-facing deliverables: websites, landing pages, blogs, and email sequences. You’ll collaborate with account managers, designers, and strategists to bring campaigns to life, while making sure every word is optimized for both SEO and performance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Write clear, compelling copy for websites, landing pages, blogs, and email sequences across multiple industries.
  • Collaborate with account managers, designers, and strategists to align copy with campaign goals.
  • Optimize content for SEO and conversion, balancing search visibility with persuasive marketing language.
  • Translate client goals, offers, and brand voice into messaging that connects and converts.
  • Conduct light research on industries, audiences, and competitors to inform copy.
  • Edit, proof, and refine content for clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Repurpose content across formats (e.g., blog → social/email sequence).
  • Implement and schedule email sequences in platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, hitting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay current on marketing, SEO, and content best practices to continuously raise the bar.
  • Contribute ideas and direction during campaign brainstorms and creative planning.
What We’re Looking For
  • A writer who can adapt tone and voice across industries and audiences.
  • Someone who understands the difference between clever and clear—and knows when to use each.
  • A marketer at heart: you know how to write for conversion, not just clicks.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities without losing quality.
  • Collaborative mindset—you thrive working with strategists, designers, and account managers.
  • Relentless attention to detail: grammar, flow, and formatting matter to you.
Bottom Line

We’re not hiring a “content producer.” We’re hiring a strategic copywriter who can think, research, and write with precision to move campaigns forward. If you’re ready to deliver words that work as hard as you do, Launchpoint/Aura is the place.

Requirements
  • 2–4 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, or agency environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web, blog, and email copy with measurable marketing impact.
  • Proven ability to write for different audiences and industries while maintaining brand voice.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them in on-page copy.
  • Experience implementing, scheduling, and testing email campaigns in platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Knowledge of conversion copywriting principles and how to optimize content for clicks, leads, and sales.
  • Excellent research, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with designers, strategists, and account managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with ClickUp or other project management tools.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
