Description
The Company
Building and executing a great investment strategy shouldn't require a PhD or a million-dollar budget-it should be simple. As a leader in fintech and wealth-tech, YCharts empowers financial advisors, asset managers, and wealth managers with best-in-class investment research tools, data visualization, and sales enablement software.
Our cloud-based SaaS platform helps users make smarter investment decisions and communicate more effectively with clients. With an 8-time Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company honor, we're a thriving growth-stage company serving top firms like John Hancock, TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, and Charles Schwab.
The Position
We're seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team and play a key role in expanding YCharts' event and marketing initiatives. In this role, you'll drive flawless execution across industry conferences, partner events, and YCharts' own hosted experiences by managing logistics, coordinating prep, and ensuring a polished on-site presence. Beyond events, you'll also contribute to broader marketing priorities, including enterprise campaigns, partnerships, and demand generation, helping ensure alignment and consistency across the full marketing function.
You'll work closely with teammates in Marketing, Sales, and Operations, gaining hands-on experience across the full event lifecycle, from planning and logistics to lead capture and ROI measurement. You'll also support high-impact marketing programs across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow into a well-rounded marketer and take on broader cross-functional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage event logistics, including registration, travel, booth shipments, and swag.
  • Organize event prep meetings, internal briefings, and marketing team calendars.
  • Develop and maintain event collateral, sales materials, and info sheets.
  • Oversee deadlines, exhibitor requirements, and prep deliverables.
  • Support planning and execution of YCharts' own events to deliver a seamless client and prospect experience.
  • Contribute to broader marketing initiatives across enterprise, partnerships, and demand generation to ensure alignment and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, finance, economics, or related field
  • At least one year of experience in marketing, sales, or customer success (B2B SaaS or fintech a plus)
  • Experience planning and executing events
  • Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency with marketing tools; HubSpot experience preferred
  • Familiarity with YCharts is a strong advantage

Benefits & Perks
  • 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) match to support your financial future.
  • Flexible time off, vacation days, sick days, and a celebration day.
  • Paid parental leave to support work-life balance.
  • Professional development stipend to help you grow in your career.
  • Hybrid work schedule with flexibility to work both in-office and remotely.
  • Summer hours so you can enjoy more sunshine.

In-Office Perks:
  • Weekly lunch credits to fuel your day.
  • Premium beverages and snacks to keep you energized.
  • Regular team events and activities to foster a fun and engaging culture.

Compensation:
At YCharts, we are committed to pay equity and transparency in all locations, including compliance with local pay disclosure requirements: the base salary range for this role is $59,000-$77,000 USD, and the Total Cash Compensation range is $65,000-$85,000 USD inclusive of bonuses. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
