PURPOSE: To support all digital & acquisition marketing efforts. This includes coordinating campaigns across email marketing, digital advertising, social media, and related marketing initiatives in support of single ticket sales, audience acquisition, and patron reengagement goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborates as an active part of the marketing team, supporting all ticket sales, audience development, patron retention, advertising, and promotional strategies to meet institutional goals.
  • Main project coordinator for scheduling and deployment of digital marketing campaigns across email marketing, social media (organic & paid), digital advertising, and related digital platforms.
  • Maintains accuracy in audience segmentation, campaign tracking, digital reporting, UTM management, and campaign coordination to support campaign effectiveness.
  • Writes draft marketing and social media copy for supervisor review and approval.
  • Assist with audience segmentation and list pulls within Tessitura CRM to support email and digital campaigns.
  • Build and maintain UTM tracking links for digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist in monitoring campaign pacing and campaign performance metrics in support of institutional sales and audience development goals.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication with external consultants, partners, and internal Media department staff.
  • Monitor inbound social media comments and messages and escalate patron service concerns as appropriate.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, project timelines, and workflow tracking within Asana and related project management systems.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Processes invoices for digital marketing activities and initiatives.
  • Assist with proofreading and quality assurance of marketing materials.
  • Attends evening and/or weekend performances as requested to perform essential job functions.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

PREREQUISITE SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience and enthusiasm for coordinating projects with multiple timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating multiple competing priorities successfully and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to problem solve with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow established brand and campaign strategies while executing marketing deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and coordinate multiple concurrent responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Asana, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
  • Familiarity with operatic repertoire and/or the Bay Area performing arts landscape a plus.
  • Experience with CRM programs (Tessitura) preferred.
