Marketing Co-Founder (1st-Party Intent Architect)
Unstuck Engine

Hey, I’m Ivan Kovpak, founder and CEO of Unstuck Engine.

We’re building the infrastructure layer for B2B GTM. We replace Frankenstein spreadsheet workflows with an intelligence layer that turns raw intent signals (web visits, likes, comments, events) into dynamic, routed audiences in real-time. We have a live product, real revenue ($18.5K in Q1), and we are actively raising a $500K pre-seed. I am currently running a public 40-day challenge to build $250K in pipeline from scratch.

I am looking for a Marketing Co-Founder. But this is not a traditional SaaS marketing role, because we do not rely on traditional SaaS funnels.

The Role: Generate the Signals, Not the Forms
Most B2B marketers spend their lives trying to force prospects to fill out a "Book a Demo" form. You won't do that here.

Because our own product is an intent orchestration engine, it automatically captures and scores who visits our site, who likes our posts, and who attends our events. Your only mandate is to generate massive amounts of 1st-party intent from our target ICP (SDR Leaders, RevOps, and Demand Gen). If you get the right people to engage with our surface area, our software catches them, and our Sales team closes them.

What I need from you:

1. You independently see the scale of the opportunity.
I don’t need blind faith. I need conviction built from your own research. Look at what we do, look at the market, and look at the shift happening in GTM infrastructure. You need to use tools to do your own diligence and independently believe this can become a unicorn-scale business. If you can't see the massive upside, this won't be a fit.

2. You are an Omnichannel Demand Builder (and you eat your own dog food).
You will use every channel—controversial content, targeted Ads, offline LA events, webinars, and programmatic SEO—to drive high-quality traffic. Because we are building GTM infrastructure, our product is the tool that proves your success. Before we formalize a co-founder relationship, you will pilot the product. You need to experience the visceral "Aha!" moment of watching the raw traffic you generate automatically score and route into high-intent sales audiences. If you don't see our product as a marketer's superpower, we shouldn't build together.

3. You measure by Incrementality, not Last-Touch.
Standard marketers fight over attribution software. You understand that B2B buying journeys are dark and non-linear. You measure success through incrementality: Did this specific campaign actually raise our baseline volume of high-value signals, or did it just cannibalize existing traffic?

4. You use AI to replace agencies.
We do not have a $50K/month budget for a marketing agency. You must be heavily AI-forward. You use tools like AirOps, Lovable, n8n, or Claude Code to rapidly spin up free lead-magnet micro-tools (Engineering as Marketing), automate event invites, and build programmatic content machines at 10x speed.

5. You know the B2B GTM landscape.
To get SDR Leaders and RevOps VPs to engage, you have to speak their language. You need to intimately understand the pain of multi-ICP targeting, signal scoring, and why spreadsheet-based tools hit a ceiling. If you don't know the domain, your campaigns won't generate the right intent.

6. Founder Economics & Location.
We are a pre-seed startup. We do not negotiate a massive guaranteed base salary. You will receive meaningful co-founder equity, and we will negotiate a cash budget based on our current funding and the total intent you help generate. Also, I highly prioritize candidates in Los Angeles or the West Coast to ensure a tight, real-time feedback loop between the intent you generate and the product roadmap.

Who this is for:

  • A top-tier Growth/Demand Gen operator who understands that 1st-party intent is the future of B2B marketing.
  • Someone who loves the freedom of optimizing for traffic and engagement without worrying about landing page form-fill conversion rates.
  • A relentless builder who uses modern AI tools to multiply their output.

Who this is NOT for:

  • A traditional "Director of Marketing" who only knows how to gate content behind PDFs.
  • Someone looking for a comfortable, guaranteed market-rate base salary from day one.
  • Someone who doesn't understand modern data enrichment and signal scoring.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
