The Marketing Senior Associate will create and curate content to enhance brand positioning, foster client engagement, and manage projects including PR efforts and multimedia initiatives.
In a crowded professional services market, a firm’s marketing team plays a critical role in telling a compelling story and earning client trust. At Riveron, we act as a catalyst for the CFO, helping our clients navigate complex business challenges and drive meaningful change. The Marketing Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand by creating engaging, client-facing content—including thought leadership and PR—that is crucial for raising brand awareness and guiding potential clients through their journey with us. A central aspect of this role is understanding the nuances of our core clients and framing content to resonate with the various roles within the office of the CFO.
As a key marketing team member, you will create and curate a wide range of content, from short videos and infographics to webinars, positioning Riveron as a leader in B2B financial advisory and consulting. We're looking for a creative problem-solver who works quickly and maintains a strong eye for detail. The ideal candidate is a content specialist who is committed to producing high-quality work efficiently and can quickly switch between different projects while maintaining a consistent level of excellence.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Over 3 years of proven experience in marketing or PR-oriented writing/content development and project management, preferably in a high-growth consulting or professional services environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and a working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana), video editing/graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe suite, or similar) and design principles
- Experience with content development beyond long-form text – interactive, video, infographics, animation, etc., ideally showcased in a portfolio or work samples
- Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with other employees, especially leadership and senior SMEs
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of time-sensitive projects and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to independently navigate a complex problem and work through to a solution with limited oversight
- Ability to develop a coherent, client-centric story based on an initial idea or overall message
- Willingness to work overtime occasionally as required by the business
- Demonstrated commitment to meticulous accuracy and high-quality standards in all deliverables, consistently meeting tight deadlines through proactivity and persistence
- Strong curiosity about content, coupled with the skill to ask perceptive questions and listen attentively
What You'll Do:
- Content Creation: Develop, edit, and produce brand positioning and thought leadership marketing content that stimulates “top of the sales funnel” interest in Riveron and moves them to engage with the firm’s business development personnel and assets
- Creativity: Determine the most effective means to engage target audiences, proactively identifying opportunities to translate strong long-form content into interactive or visually stimulating “bite-sized” pieces that differentiate Riveron and elicit purchase intent and further action along the buyer’s journey
- Public Relations: Assist the Associate Director of Brand Development in collaborating with our PR agency and internal stakeholders to earn media coverage by drafting and editing pieces such as press releases, media alerts, and other related communications
- Project Management: Oversee the content execution for delivery in multiple channels and formats, including webinars, podcasts, video production, and other multimedia initiatives
- Content Review: Collaborate effectively with firm SMEs and leadership to outline, edit, proofread, and enhance content as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, the marketing team and the PR team to generate and prioritize ideas for compelling brand positioning and thought leadership content
- Support the firm’s website rebuild with new and repackaged content in various formats (video, short form copy)
- Engage in other special projects as needed, including content support for individual high-profile events (mostly client-facing but occasionally to support internal initiatives)

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.
Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech
- Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
