The Marketing Associate plays an integral role in the success of brand management projects. They efficiently and accurately lead the implementation of all new point-of-sale projects into market and manage the execution of campaign initiatives. They report to the Director, Marketing and work effectively across multiple departments, including sales, finance, operations, and our in-house agency teams (Creative, Insights, Media, and Public Relations).
We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Our office is located in Los Angeles, CA 90064.
Job Description
- Manage the global annual pistachio industry report and event process (6-7 months) and interface with key business stakeholders (CFO, COO, VP).
- Work with all cross-functional departments (PR, media, international, agency, etc.) on all marketing collateral provided to our external partners.
- Lead the Brand’s in-store display program across US and Canada, by developing new creative with the creative agency, managing the execution with production vendors, and be responsible for managing the annual point-of-sale budget.
- Responsible for synergizing the brand across the US and international markets by continuously sharing US marketing materials with the international teams (training, creative assets, sales presentations, financials) and reviewing and approving local campaigns/programs.
- Responsible for the development and execution of all sales-team requested creative assets, prioritizing projects, and working cross-functionally with the Agency and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery of all projects.
- Use various data sources, both qualitative and quantitative, including syndicated data, to derive valuable insights and make recommendations on ways to improve the business; participate in team brainstorms and ideation.
- Lead execution of domestic tradeshows or trade-related events including creative design, set-up, logistics, and vendors; travel included.
- Spearhead competitor analysis (advertising, products), derive insights and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead the strategy and execution of consumer social engagement including social calendars, TikTok content strategy and refresh brand social presence on relevant platforms.
- Manage brand guidelines and standard marketing collateral (ads, coupons, etc.) used by cross-functional teams (Sales, PR, Trade, etc.).
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ marketing experience.
- Experience in food and beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, utilizing data to identify unique insights.
- Organized, resourceful, and highly detail oriented.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Cross-functional collaboration and relationship building skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
