This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design, branding, and marketing who enjoys bringing ideas to life while keeping projects, assets, and resources organized behind the scenes.

About the Job

The Marketing Associate will help execute a wide variety of marketing initiatives—from creating presentations and email campaigns to designing marketing collateral and maintaining our visual asset library. This person will work collaboratively across the Marketing team to help ensure every project is delivered on brand, on time, and with excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design polished, on-brand marketing materials, including presentations, one-pagers, flyers, digital assets, signage, email graphics, and social media content.

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PowerPoint to create new materials and update existing resources.

  • Help develop and maintain branded templates, marketing tools, and the company’s digital asset library.

  • Build, test, and schedule email campaigns in ActiveCampaign, while supporting audience management and performance reporting.

  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and campaign execution.

  • Coordinate marketing requests, project timelines, files, and documentation across multiple initiatives.

  • Proof and quality-check materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.

  • Organize marketing content across Canto, SharePoint, Canva, and other platforms so resources remain current and accessible.

  • Support internal communications, award submissions, PR opportunities, photography, event branding, and other Brand Marketing initiatives.

  • Identify ways to improve the organization and efficiency of marketing processes and systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience using Canva to create branded marketing materials.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and SharePoint.

  • Experience with ActiveCampaign, Canto, or similar marketing platforms is preferred (or a willingness to quickly learn new technologies).

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for branding, visual storytelling, and creating polished, high-quality work.

  • Experience working with DAM (Digital Asset Management) platforms.

  • Photography, photo editing, or basic video editing experience is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

  • You consistently produce polished, accurate, and on-brand creative materials.

  • Marketing projects stay organized, on schedule, and well documented.

  • Templates and digital assets are current, easy to find, and accessible to internal teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
