πŸ“ Location: Remote (Worldwide) πŸ“…Experience: 2+ years in marketing content, copywriting, or a marketing assistant role

About the roleYou write, and you keep things moving. You own our written content and our email; you publish our content on time, and you make sure nothing goes out with a mistake. Our video and social content is produced by our in-house creative team; the writing, the email, and keeping it all on track are yours.

What You'll Own

Writing
  • Blog posts and articles that bring people in.
  • Case studies, written from a customer win or a testimonial call.
  • The everyday copy: social captions, in-app pop-ups and banners, landing-page and email copy.
Email & Newsletters
  • Write, build, and send our newsletters and lifecycle emails (trial, onboarding, retention).
  • Check every send before it goes: links work, personalization is right, it reads well on mobile, unsubscribe works.
Publishing & Coordination
  • Schedule and post the finished content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, on time and consistently.
  • Keep the content pipeline moving: track what's in progress, chase what's missing, make sure nothing slips.
Quality Control
  • Review content from the creative team before it's published or sent: the copy is right, client names are spelled correctly, links work, and it sounds like us.

Who We're Looking For

Required
  • 2+ years writing marketing content (blog posts, emails, case studies) for a SaaS or digital business.
  • Native-level written English with a clear, strong voice.
  • Hands-on with an email platform (ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Customer.io, Mailchimp, or similar).
  • Comfortable scheduling and posting across social platforms.
  • Organized and reliable; you hit your deadlines.
  • A sharp eye for detail; you catch the typos everyone else misses.

Success in This Role
  • Content ships on schedule, week after week.
  • Newsletters and emails go out regularly and read well.
  • Blog posts and case studies get published and bring in readers and leads.
  • Nothing goes out with an error.
  • The founder and the creative team can count on you to keep things moving.

Tools You'll Use
  • ActiveCampaign / Customer.io
  • ClickUp / Notion
  • Social schedulers
  • Canva / Figma (basic)
  • Claude
  • Google Workspace

What We Offer
  • Work directly with the founding team.
  • Fully remote, flexible schedule.
  • Room to grow into a broader marketing role.

Why this roleYou're the person who makes marketing actually happen: the writing, the emails, the posting, done and done right. You own real output from day one, and grow into more as the team scales.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent β€” not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
