Join us to shape the next frontier of AI-driven robotics!

Dyna Robotics builds general-purpose robots powered by a proprietary, embodied AI foundation model that generalizes and self-improves across varied environments with commercial-grade performance. Already deployed across multiple industries, our frontier model delivers the top generalization and performance in the industry.

The Role

We are at a stage where the company is rapidly evolving across research, deployments, fundraising, and go-to-market. Marketing at Dyna is not about generic startup growth tactics or hype-driven branding. Instead, it is about shaping how the robotics and Physical AI ecosystem understands our technology, our research, and our vision for the future of automation.

We are looking for a highly strategic and execution-oriented marketing leader who can help define and scale Dyna’s external narrative across research launches, company storytelling, recruiting, investor visibility, conferences, media, and brand. In this role, you will work closely with the founders, research, product, operations, and external partners to establish Dyna as one of the defining companies in robotics and Physical AI.

This role will report directly to the CEO and Co-Founder and will play a key role in shaping how Dyna is perceived across the broader robotics, AI, investor, and talent ecosystem.

What You’ll Do
  1. Brand Narrative & Technical Launches

    • Shape the narrative: Define and evolve Dyna’s brand positioning, voice, and external messaging across all touchpoints, prioritizing clarity and technical rigor.

    • Lead research releases: Own the end-to-end strategy and execution behind major technical and research launches, translating complex science into credible storytelling without overhyping the technology.

  2. PR & External Communications

    • Manage media relations: Partner with external PR agencies to coordinate high-impact launches, media outreach, press strategy, and embargo timelines.

    • Amplify ecosystem presence: Direct Dyna’s presence and strategy across key research events, academic conferences, and industry gatherings.

  3. Content Strategy & Visual Storytelling

    • Drive the content drumbeat: Own the content strategy and platform cadence, ensuring a steady, intentional stream of updates aligned with company priorities.

    • Lead creative production: Direct the creation of high-impact deployment videos, research demos, and visual assets, leveraging strong visual instincts to showcase our physical robots.

  4. Talent & Growth Marketing

    • Attract world-class talent: Partner with leadership to craft compelling recruiting narratives and culture storytelling that attracts top-tier robotics talent.

    • Support investor relations: Assist executive leadership with company positioning and narratives for investor-facing communications.

Who you are
  • Experienced Operator: 4 plus years of experience in marketing, communications, brand, or content roles at a high-growth technology company or startup.

  • Master Storyteller: Exceptional writing ability with strong instincts for narrative clarity, positioning, and communications strategy.

  • Technically Adept: Proven capability to translate deeply technical concepts into compelling, accurate messaging for both specialized and broad audiences.

  • Autonomous Leader: Possess a strong ownership mentality and the ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution in ambiguous environments.

  • Cross-Functional Driver: Experienced in managing complex, cross-functional launches and communications initiatives.

Bonus points for
  • Experience in robotics, AI, developer tools, deep tech, hardware, or technical infrastructure companies.

  • A proven track record of supporting highly technical or academic research-oriented launches.

  • Deep familiarity with the robotics, AI, or Physical AI ecosystems and how those technical communities engage with research.

  • Strong visual storytelling instincts across video, technical demos, and creative assets.

  • Experience working directly with founders, executive leadership teams, or managing external PR and creative agencies.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
