Join us as Twilio’s next Marketing Analyst, Marketing Strategy & Analytics (Canada)

About the job

We’re seeking a data-driven, execution-focused Marketing Analyst to power the Go-To-Market (GTM) analytics engine behind Twilio’s product-led growth (PLG) initiatives. This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of Growth Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Engineering. You’ll rapidly prototype, test growth hypotheses, and transform customer and product insights into scalable sales plays and GTM experiments. Your work will directly shape how we surface high-impact signals and operationalize them across Twilio’s go-to-market motion.

As a key translator between commercial teams and GTM engineers, you’ll bridge business needs with technical solutions, helping build the connective tissue that drives measurable growth across our self-serve and sales-assisted motions.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development of PLG analytics across GTM pods, owning the end-to-end process of designing, prototyping, and iterating on high-impact sales programs and growth experiments.
  • You will build relationships with revenue leaders to translate hypotheses into actionable experiments.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions using Python, SQL, and Twilio’s internal data infrastructure. Collaborate with Marketing Data Engineering to take tests from pilot to production.
  • Act as the connective tissue between GTM engineers and business teams, ensuring seamless translation of commercial goals into scalable technical programs.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Strategy, and Marketing to identify high-leverage use cases and surface actionable growth signals.
  • Build tight feedback loops with sales teams to validate play effectiveness and drive continuous iteration.
  • Own and evolve dashboards, cohort models, and experimentation frameworks that track product usage, activation, and monetization.
  • Distill complex insights into clear, concise communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in GTM analytics, growth operations, strategy, or product data roles, ideally within a high-scale B2B SaaS environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, prototyping, and automation.
  • Proven track record of translating business challenges into analytical models, sales tools, or programmatic solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning and generative AI, particularly in applying these techniques to sales or growth use cases.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch minimum viable products (MVPs), iterate based on feedback, and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • High ownership mindset with a bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong focus on experimentation and velocity.

Desired:

  • Background in technology companies, management consulting, strategy, or similar setups.
  • Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) motions and usage-based monetization strategies.
  • Experience working within GTM or Revenue Operations teams, or in close collaboration with engineering counterparts.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and visualizations using tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
