Description:

As a Market Manager (MM), your role is ultimately charged with increasing the sales of Firestone Walker Brewing Co. (FW) highly awarded beers. This includes direct account responsibility for key on and off-premise accounts, securing new distribution in existing and new accounts, and working closely with the distributor network in the assigned territory to develop all accounts.

Job Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Pursue new on and off-premise distribution 
  • Call existing key accounts to secure existing distribution and obtain new distribution
  • Create timely presentations and introduce new and “limited release” beers
  • Execute weekly on and off-premise promotions and periodic special events that generate brand awareness and consumer sampling, as well as support new distribution at target accounts
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with account staff and distributor sales personnel 
  • Travel to company sales meetings
  • Participate in market “blitzes” in other territories and work with other FW team members to execute the sales plan
  • Complete necessary administrative reporting on a timely basis 
  • Maintain all sales goals and personal budgets outlined for assigned territory
  • Manage promotion budget to facilitate promotional activity at on and off-premise accounts
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks of each of your distributor warehouses and feedback to the Territory Sales Manager (TSM)
  • Keep strong distributor relationships 
  • Have periodic ride-withs and concentration days with distributor personnel 
  • Attend monthly Development Days 
  • Work with the FW team to develop the brand and execute/achieve the sales plan 
  • Become a business partner to distributors through being best supplier partners 
  • Assist distributors with sales, new distribution, displays, merchandising standards and promotional activity for FW products
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma. Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field a plus
  • 2 years of beverage or consumer goods selling experience preferred
