How you will make an impact:

Review designs, assist in testing and validation of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot and maintain existing equipment, make improvements to existing equipment and maintain SOP’s for equipment used to manufacture filtration and single-use processing solution products.

  • Work with operators/leads/supervisors to identify areas of improvement on existing equipment and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Develops and implements improvements with Departmental approval.
  • Prepares drawings for equipment modifications using 2-D and 3-D CAD software.
  • Work with maintenance on troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Attend new equipment design reviews and provide recommendations for ease of operation, maintenance and robustness of design.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of new equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining SOP’s and Maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for documenting any special/unique operations for assembly or operation.
  • Assist in installation and startup of new equipment.
  • Train operators on the use of new equipment and procedures.
  • Assign maintenance work orders to the appropriate maintenance technicians.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems, and equipment.
  • Must be proficient with CAD software.
  • Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

Occasional work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom. As a result, the successful candidate must be a nonsmoker.

US BASE PAY SCALE $75,700 - $91,200

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
