As a Manual QA Engineer, you will define test strategies, execute testing plans, document quality initiatives, and engage with clients on quality requirements while contributing to test automation.

About the role
As a Manual QA Engineer at Fluxon, you’ll have the opportunity to design and implement testing processes across diverse applications. You’ll collaborate with the team that values innovation, integrity, and continuous growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Defining end-to-end test strategy and processes for entire products, including suggesting appropriate tools to use
- Planning and executing testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables
- Assisting project teams by tracking, documenting, and reporting on quality initiatives
- Investigating reports of product quality issues and working collaboratively towards resolution
- Being your products’ quality champion and evangelising QA best practices within your teams and our clients
- Engaging directly with our clients to understand requirements, define what quality means, and debug complex issues
- Learning fast while working independently and reliably
Qualifications
- Experienced QA engineer generalist with a dedication to product quality, familiar and open to a wide range of technologies
- 5+ years of hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications, as well as APIs
- 3+ years of experience in setting up testing processes from scratch, building and maintaining test documentation
- Strong understanding of client - server architecture
- Strong understanding of testing theory and SDLC
- Basic understanding of CI/CD
- Basic understanding of networking stack (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSH, etc)
- Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English
- Basic scripting experience (any modern programming language)
- Pro-active personality, with a willingness to learn and contribute to test automation
- Familiarity with task estimation
