Title: Managing Director, Wealth Management - M4

Location: Remote USA

Reports To: VP & General Manager, Financial Services

The Role: 

As the Managing Director, Wealth Intelligence, you will collaborate with J.D. Power team members and clients to enhance the wealth management industry and leading institutions. You will be a dynamic force for change, identifying mission-critical issues and delivering solutions that make a meaningful difference for our clients and the industry.


The Impact You Will Have in This Role: 

This role is a senior leadership position within J.D. Power, where you will have the opportunity to work with many of the leading wealth management firms in a rapidly transforming landscape to affect change. You will have the ability to shape the future of the wealth business at J.D. Power and the wealth management industry more broadly.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role: 

  • Vision and Strategy: Define the current and future vision for the business using your knowledge of the industry, providers, and consumers. Identify market needs and help enhance current solutions and develop new ones to help our customers compete effectively.
  • Leadership: Lead the broader Wealth Management Practice and J.D. Power team to effectively support the broader needs of our clients.
  • Insights and Advisory: Develop and present critical insights to C-level executives based on J.D. Power research and other data to drive change within the firm and the broader wealth management industry. Be the expert in the room providing a value-add perspective that goes beyond data.
  • Thought Leadership: Elevate the exposure and impact of J.D. Power thought leadership in the wealth management industry to the level of trusted expert for both media and executive leaders. Create thought leadership that elevates the position of J.D. Power in the industry and increases our credibility with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Client Relationships: Work closely with senior stakeholders in the clients’ business and with professionals from leading wealth management firms to understand key needs of the market. Proactively manage relationships with sales leaders and individual account executives within your assigned practice areas to undertake account planning and support their revenue goals.
  • Business Development: Design and deliver insights that facilitate relationship expansion with existing clients. Develop content that raises awareness and engagement in the market. Work with sales to identify key executive targets and a strategy to enable expansion of the relationship.

Qualifications of this Role: 

  • Significant wealth management industry experience, with insights and consulting experience a priority.
  • Successful track record as a senior executive using insights and data within or directly advising/supporting the wealth management industry to drive change/improvement efforts.
  • Skilled at engaging and influencing C-level executives, being recognized as a trusted advisor.
  • Strategic business development experience.
  • Strong presentation skills and demonstrable experience in presenting to, and working with, senior executives
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university required.
