Barupon LLC is an emerging infrastructure and industrial development company focused on building large-scale energy, manufacturing, and advanced technology ecosystems in the United States. The company is developing major projects that integrate energy generation, industrial manufacturing, and AI/data infrastructure, requiring strong partnerships with institutional investors and global capital providers.

To support our growth, Barupon is seeking a highly experienced Managing Director – Sovereign & Institutional Capital who can build relationships with sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and banking institutions to secure large-scale capital partnerships.

This role will work closely with executive leadership to structure and raise capital for strategic infrastructure and energy investments across the United States.

Position Overview

The Managing Director – Sovereign & Institutional Capital will lead Barupon’s institutional fundraising and sovereign investment partnerships, focusing on attracting capital from global investors, financial institutions, and domestic banking networks.

This executive will be responsible for building relationships with:

  • Sovereign wealth funds

  • Infrastructure investment funds

  • Pension funds

  • Institutional investors

  • Domestic and international banking institutions

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of raising significant capital in the United States and maintaining strong relationships across the global investment ecosystem.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstitutional Capital Strategy
  • Lead fundraising initiatives with sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and global infrastructure funds

  • Structure capital partnerships for Barupon’s infrastructure and energy projects

  • Develop and execute strategic capital-raising campaigns for large-scale developments

Sovereign & Institutional Investor Relations
  • Build and maintain relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and infrastructure investment firms

  • Present investment opportunities to institutional investors and financial partners

  • Position Barupon’s projects as attractive long-term infrastructure investments

Banking & Financial Institution Partnerships
  • Maintain strong connections with domestic and international banking institutions

  • Collaborate with banks on project financing, structured financing, and credit facilities

  • Identify debt and equity financing opportunities within the U.S. capital markets

Capital Structuring & Deal Execution
  • Work closely with executive leadership to structure complex infrastructure financing

  • Coordinate with financial advisors, legal counsel, and institutional partners

  • Support strategic investment negotiations and partnership agreements

Strategic Market Intelligence
  • Monitor capital market trends in infrastructure, energy, and industrial development

  • Identify emerging opportunities for institutional capital participation

  • Provide leadership with insights on investor expectations and funding strategies

Required Qualifications
  • 10–20+ years of experience in capital markets, infrastructure finance, investment banking, or institutional fundraising

  • Proven experience raising capital in the United States for large infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects

  • Established relationships with sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and infrastructure investment funds

  • Strong connections with domestic banking institutions and financial partners

  • Demonstrated ability to secure large capital commitments from institutional investors

  • Deep understanding of U.S. capital markets and infrastructure investment structures

  • Experience presenting complex investment opportunities to institutional investors and global capital partners

  • Strong negotiation, financial structuring, and strategic partnership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will be strongly preferred:

  • Experience raising $250M – $1B+ in institutional capital

  • Background in energy infrastructure, manufacturing ecosystems, or industrial development

  • Experience working with sovereign wealth funds or global infrastructure funds

  • Prior roles in investment banking, infrastructure private equity, or project finance

  • Experience structuring public-private partnerships or infrastructure investments

  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or business administration
