About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and business-focused Managing Director to lead and scale our global Access Management consulting practice, focused on platforms such as Ping Identity, Okta, ForgeRock, and other leading IAM technologies. This individual will play a critical role in building strategic client relationships, shaping service offerings, leading global delivery teams, and accelerating revenue growth.
As a senior leader, you will have the vision to expand our IAM capabilities, the expertise to lead complex identity programs, and the leadership acumen to build a high-performing global practice from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Access Management consulting practice.
- Build, lead, and scale a global team of IAM professionals and technical experts.
- Drive the development of service offerings, accelerators, and go-to-market strategies in Ping, Okta, ForgeRock, and other leading platforms.
- Establish strong relationships with key technology vendors (Ping, Okta, ForgeRock) and represent the firm at industry forums and partner events.
- Serve as executive sponsor for major IAM programs, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives.
- Consult with C-suite stakeholders to understand their access management challenges and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Oversee multiple concurrent engagements across geographies and industries, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with sales and alliance teams to identify new opportunities, shape proposals, and close strategic deals.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of consulting opportunities in Identity and Access Management.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth targets by meeting or exceeding revenue, margin, and utilization goals.
- Lead the creation of whitepapers, case studies, and industry thought leadership on access management trends and best practices.
- Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, product updates, and regulatory drivers impacting identity and access management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement across the practice.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Identity and Access Management consulting, with a strong focus on Ping, Okta, ForgeRock, and related platforms.
- Proven experience building and scaling a consulting or professional services practice globally.
- Deep understanding of IAM domains: SSO, MFA, identity federation, directory services, access governance, and identity lifecycle management.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of driving revenue growth and client success.
- Executive presence with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with clients across multiple industries including financial services, healthcare, retail, and government is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
