Managing Attorney - California

Job Description 

Our law firm is looking to add experienced attorneys to its leadership team to help grow and strengthen the firm’s practice in California. The Managing Attorney will play a key role in supporting the firm’s high-volume foreclosure practice, developing client relationships, providing strategic direction, and helping ensure the continued delivery of high-quality legal services. This position requires client contact, leadership responsibility, and the ability to manage a wide range of creditor’s rights matters. License to practice law in California required.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to the firm’s California foreclosure and litigation practice areas.
  • Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to promote high-quality work product, effective file management, and adherence to firm policies and procedures.
  • Monitor case progress, identify issues, and develop practical strategies to move matters efficiently toward resolution.
  • Maintain and expand client relationships in support of the firm’s continued growth in California.

Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of law and experience related to creditors’ rights legal representation (real estate, foreclosure, litigation)
  • Working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application to foreclosure matters
  • Knowledge of Federal and State consumer protection statutes
  • California barred for 8+ years

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity in all client, court, and internal interactions.
  • Apply strong leadership, client development, and creative problem-solving skills to support firm growth and effective team performance.
  • Proficiency with legal technology, case management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other general office tools.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively through verbal, written, and electronic correspondence.

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the California Bar
