Position Overview:

We have a fast-growing team of dedicated consultants with deep experience from working both within the industry and consulting. Successful candidates should expect a diverse range of complex and strategic engagements across the Insurance market. As we continue to expand our client base and expertise, we are looking for individuals to join our team to support our growth journey. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing solutions for a range of issues facing insurance companies. Over the course of each project, you will collect and analyze data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to the client to solve their unique business challenge. You’ll be playing a proactive supporting role in driving our programs forward and engaging directly with client stakeholders to solve their business challenges.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Independently managing complex, high-visibility client engagements across wealth management firms, custodial integrations, advisor-experience programs, and product-led transformations—driving exceptional client satisfaction from project design through delivery.
  • Developing strategies and delivery roadmaps that set clients up for success, ensuring high-quality outputs delivered on time and within budget.
  • Analyzing clients’ business and operational needs, including advisor workflows, onboarding, data and reporting requirements, custodial interactions, and compliance considerations to identify key issues and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Monitoring progress across workstreams, managing delivery risks, escalating issues, and ensuring stakeholders—across advisory leadership, operations, and technology—remain fully informed of progress and expected outcomes.
  • Facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including wealth advisors, custodial partners, product teams, and engineering groups to ensure aligned and successful execution.
  • Managing and mentoring junior consultants, overseeing their deliverables, and supporting their ongoing development.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor capable of supporting ongoing transformation, technology adoption, and process improvements.
  • Carry out client and vendor interactions, helping articulate firm capabilities and identifying opportunities to deepen client partnerships.
  • Staying current on Wealth Management trends, including advisor technology, digital onboarding, TAMP offerings, custodial integrations, regulatory shifts, and client-experience innovations.
  • Contributing to business development, supporting proposal creation, thought leadership, and practice growth initiatives.
  • Managing engagement financials, ensuring proper tracking of budgets, resourcing, and profitability.

We want to hear from people with:

  • 5+ years of consulting or transformation delivery experience, gained within a leading consulting firm or financial institution—preferably in Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Advisor Operations.
  • Significant experience leading projects related to advisor experience, digital onboarding, custodial integrations (Pershing, Fidelity, Schwab), client servicing operations, data workflows, or wealth-tech platform implementations.
  • Strong background in one or more Wealth Management transformation areas such as:
    • Advisor workflow redesign
    • Client onboarding & KYC
    • Custodial account setup & transfers (ACATs)
    • TAMP/platform integrations
    • Operations & middle-office optimization
    • CRM and advisor-tech enhancements
    • Data and reporting solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to practice growth through client delivery excellence, relationship development, and support for sales/business development activities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex advisor and operational issues to senior executives.
  • Proven ability to build new client relationships, deepen existing ones, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • A strong desire and ability to mentor junior consultants.
  • Familiarity with key trends in the Wealth Management sector, including digital transformation, custodial consolidation, regulatory expectations, and evolving advisor service models.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
