As Manager, Vertical Market Sales, Healthcare at Spectrum, you will oversee and empower a team of major account executives, managers and representatives, delivering advanced connectivity solutions to business clients. Your leadership will be key to exceeding sales targets and building strong partnerships that drive Spectrum's continued expansion and impact.
How You Will Make an Impact
  • Lead, recruit, train and motivate a sales team to consistently surpass monthly sales and billing goals
  • Oversee daily sales activities, conduct weekly team meetings and one-on-one reviews to maintain productivity and ensure effective account management
  • Attend sales calls with representatives to support their development and business acquisition efforts
  • Provide weekly sales summaries and reports to inform strategic decisions
  • Assign high-priority customers and pursue business opportunities with long-term growth potential
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Market Development, Construction, Sales Support and Marketing to support sales initiatives and customer satisfaction
  • Coach team members in skills and strategies necessary for top performance
  • Comply with established Spectrum policies and procedures and undertake special projects as assigned

What You Will Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent training, education and experience

Experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise-level account sales experience in telecommunications or cable, selling Ethernet, Cloud Services, High Speed Data and Fiber Services with a proven record of territory achievement and quota achievement
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a competitive telecommunications or cable sales environment with strong knowledge of Ethernet, Cloud Services, High Speed Data, Fiber Services and fiber-connected networks

Skills
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans tailored to key prospects and customers
  • Personnel supervision and office management capability
  • Experience organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals
  • Demonstrated leadership in high-volume, fast-paced environments requiring teamwork and adaptability
  • Organizational development and advanced business skills
  • Proficiency with telecommunications and networking technologies
  • Above-average business analysis skills using MS Office tools and Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms
  • Travel up to 70% using a valid and active state driver's license with a safe driving record
