Job Summary 

Per Scholas is seeking a results-driven Manager, Talent Sourcing & Strategy with 2 to 5 years of talent acquisition experience to drive our talent discovery, candidate coordination, and selective recruitment efforts. In this pivotal remote role, you will leverage advanced Boolean search techniques and LinkedIn Recruiter to design proactive sourcing strategies (50%), manage seamless interview scheduling and coordination (25%), and lead selective full-cycle recruitment (25%) for key positions. By building diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines and delivering an exceptional candidate journey, your work directly empowers Per Scholas to attract top-tier talent aligned with our mission to open pathways to tech careers.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute advanced sourcing methodologies—including Boolean logic, X-ray searches, and LinkedIn Recruiter—to identify, map, and engage top-tier passive candidates, with an emphasis on hard-to-fill technical and non-profit roles (50% focus).
  • Manage end-to-end interview scheduling and logistics coordination across hiring teams, ensuring a smooth, timely, and responsive candidate experience (25% focus).
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for a targeted portfolio of priority requisitions—from intake calls through offer negotiation—delivering strong candidate continuity and quality hires (25% focus).
  • Proactively construct and nourish long-term, inclusive candidate talent pools to support organizational expansion and ongoing hiring goals.
  • Partner consultatively with internal hiring managers to calibrate candidate profiles, share market intelligence, and guide teams on interview best practices and bias-mitigation techniques.
  • Maintain candidate data integrity and pipeline metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate reporting and seamless recruitment workflows.

What You'll Bring To Us:

  • 2 to 5 years of talent acquisition experience, with proven success in proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search strings to identify and engage passive talent across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional organizational, administrative, and calendar management skills with a strong track record of coordinating multi-stage interview schedules seamlessly.
  • Strong written communication and outreach copywriting skills to craft personalized, high-converting candidate engagement messages.
  • Demonstrated commitment to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into every stage of the talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Hands-on experience navigating modern Applicant Tracking Systems (experience with Greenhouse is strongly preferred).
  • Prior experience sourcing technical candidates or working within the non-profit sector is highly preferred.

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range of $55,000–$65,000, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides and alignment with qualifications and experience.

Holidays & PTO: Full-Time Per Scholas team members enjoy over 40 days of paid time off each year through a mix of holidays, vacation, and sick/personal time! All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year). Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance. Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements. 

Comprehensive Medical Coverage: Benefit eligible employees can choose from multiple medical plans through Cigna or Kaiser Permanente (where available), with options to fit your needs. Eligible employees also have access to a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) that reimburses eligible out-of-pocket expenses, up to $4,000 for individuals and $8,000 for families.

Dental and Vision Insurance: Eligible employees can select from two dental plan options and a vision plan. Employees who waive medical coverage receive employer paid dental and vision premiums.

Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with a current 100% employer match on contributions up to 6%, eligible employees are offered entry and full vesting after 90 days with the company.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free, confidential, 24/7 access to counseling, legal support, and financial resources for employees and their household members

Parental Leave: Eligible employees are offered up to 6 weeks of 100% paid parental leave to support employees as they welcome a new child and bond with their family.

Additional Benefits & Perks: Eligible employees have access to employer-paid life and AD&D Insurance, as well as employer-paid short-term disability coverage, with the option to elect additional life coverage and long-term disability insurance. Flexible Spending accounts are available for healthcare, dependent care, and commuting expenses.
