Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Systems and Test Engineering to lead our Systems Development, System Test and Product Compliance functions. This role is responsible for driving the design, development, integration, and validation of complex electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will oversee system-level test strategies, own the system Hazard and Risk Analysis, and lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, compliant, and reliable products.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide technical and strategic leadership for the Systems Engineering team, focusing on system architecture, integration, and validation.• Drive system test plans, verification and validation (V&V) strategies, and ensure traceability to system requirements.• Ensure all products meet applicable regulatory and industry standards, including safety, environmental, and performance certifications (e.g., ISO, CE, FCC, UL, etc.).• Oversee system risk assessments (e.g., HARA, FMEA, DFMEA) and ensure design robustness through rigorous testing methodologies.• Work closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, system testing, or product compliance in a relevant industry (e.g., robotics, automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation).
Preferred Qualifications:• Leadership experience, including managing engineering teams and driving complex projects.• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, V-model development processes, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
