Wonderful Strategy Group (WSG) is a team of over 20 strategy professionals committed to delivering high-impact results for the businesses that make up The Wonderful Company portfolio of brands including FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios, JUSTIN Wine, Teleflora, and Wonderful Halos.

As a Strategy team lead, you will independently drive complex, ambiguous, and high-impact initiatives from end to end, spanning strategic, commercial, operational, technological, and organizational topics. You will form robust partnerships with company leadership and C-level executives while also leading internal teams and mentoring junior team members to deliver exceptional results and shape the future of The Wonderful Company.

We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Our office is located at 11444 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064.

Job Description

  • Independently lead and prioritize work across multiple complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Manage and develop internal team members, fostering skill development and a high-performance culture.
  • Design and pressure test sophisticated growth, operational and organizational strategies.
  • Identify and resolve ambiguous business challenges with minimal guidance, using structured problem solving and data-driven insights.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with leadership at operating companies / business units.
  • Collaborate across functions and groups (e.g., Insights, Marketing, Operations) to drive growth and reduce waste.
  • Contribute to and participate in ongoing skill development and leadership training.
  • Travel occasionally to specified counties for direct collaboration with business partners.

Travel Required: Occasional travel to San Joaquin Valley (Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno Counties), Napa, Sonoma, and San Luis Obispo Counties. These day trips can be up to ~20% of the time (1 day per week).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, operations, technology, finance, or related fields, with a track record of delivering high impact initiatives.
  • Demonstrable executive presence and experience partnering with senior leadership to influence business decisions.
  • Experience managing team members and developing junior employees.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or undefined situations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to own and drive complex projects independently from concept to implementation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Pay Range: $160,000-175,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
