Our company is seeking a Manager, Solutions to join our dynamic team. As the Manager, Solutions, you will be part of a team that manages and supports a large roster of distributed clients across the globe, overseeing key elements of the client experience, including working alongside label clients to develop artists and promote content. The candidate must have strong passion for and knowledge of the independent music market, an understanding of digital retail platforms, release requirements and opportunities, and solid technical capabilities. This is a highly responsible role that requires proactive problem solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all types of music.

What You’ll Do
  • Office- first role, in office 4 days a week.
  • Manage day to day relationships with distributed label and artist clients.
  • Manage clients’ priority release campaign logistics from inception through to analysis, working with other internal departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and data analytics as necessary
  • Manage assigned label’s digital and physical product logistics and operations, ensuring digital content is delivered in a timely manner and to required specifications using Orchard technology systems, and physical releases make their way to market by way of coordinating with sales, manufacturing, and inventory management
  • Liaise with all internal departments (from finance and marketing to legal and management) to ensure client business needs are met, as the primary point of contact externally to the label and internally representing your labels’ interests
  • Drive product adoption of The Orchards tools and services across the client base
  • Main point of contact for questions pertaining to all operational functions across the organization, serving as a focal point of information and defining internal processes and procedures 
  • Focus on clear, solution based responses to internal and external queries regarding client questions Ability to handle high volume inbound needs from labels and ensure they are being addressed in a timely manner
Who You Are
  • 3+ years’ experience within a label or distribution system, or similar area, working with labels or artists
  • 1-2 years of Zendesk experience preferred
  • Position is customer service and relationship focused, requiring excellent internal and external communication skills and professional diplomacy
  • Experience with digital music platforms and digital music best practices
  • Experience with digital and physical retail opportunities
  • Patient and empathetic 
  • Effective communicator on phone, email, and in person
  • Resourceful, problem solver, and takes initiative - an expert and motivated troubleshooter
  • Multi-tasker with supreme attention to detail, follow-through and effective prioritization
  • Spanish language skills preferred, but not required

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
California Pay Range
$65,000$70,000 USD
