Job Description

Manager, Skills Coaching 

Location: Remote; Anywhere in the US 

 

The Role: 

As the Manager of Skills Coaching, you will oversee and guide a team of coaches and outreach coordinators to ensure students and job seekers receive personalized and impactful support throughout their career advancement and job search journeys. You will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of coaching sessions and live lessons, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance the quality of service delivery. 

In this role, you will support the development and integration of new tools and processes to drive operational efficiency while ensuring seamless implementation. A key part of your responsibilities will include managing the collection and analysis of data on service delivery and student outcomes, using insights to inform decision-making and optimize future strategies. You will prepare and monitor regular reports on team performance, student satisfaction, and other key metrics to provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. 

Additionally, you will proactively address challenges, manage escalations, and ensure that projects are prioritized in alignment with business goals. By leading the implementation of standard processes, you will work to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance operational effectiveness across the organization, ensuring the highest standards of service and successful outcomes for students and job seekers. 

 

The Responsibilities: 

 

  • Oversee and guide team of coaches and outreach coordinator(s) to ensure students and job seekers receive effective, personalized support throughout their career advancement and job search process. 

  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of coaching supports and provide solutions to continuously improve the quality and impact of coaching sessions and live lessons. 

  • Support the development and implementation of new processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery, ensuring that innovations are seamlessly integrated into existing processes. 

  • Works across teams to seek and incorporate input from across the organization and lead and execute projects.  

  • Manage the collection and analysis of data related to service delivery and student outcomes, ensuring that data is accurately reported and leveraged for decision-making and service enhancements. 

  • Prepare and analyze regular reports on team performance, student satisfaction, and key metrics, providing actionable insights to drive improvements and strategic decisions. 

  • Anticipate and address issues proactively, exploring contingencies and managing escalations throughout each initiative to ensure smooth operations and successful outcomes. 

  • Ensures clear and consistent communication across teams and stakeholders to align on goals and drive execution. 

  • Prioritize projects and escalations in alignment with business strategy and priorities, ensuring that critical tasks are managed effectively to support overall goals. 

  • Lead the implementation of standard processes while identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements to optimize operations across the organization. 

  • Mentors and supports the professional development of team members, helping them grow in their roles and reach their full potential. 

 

 

The Requirements:  

  • 3+ years of experience enabling coaches with the necessary tools, resources, and structure to successfully deliver effective coaching support 

  • 1+ years of management experience, successfully leading teams to meet performance goals 

  • Strong understanding of career and professional development coaching, job search strategies, and student outcomes 

  • Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making and service improvements 

  • Experience in developing and implementing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences 

  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 

 

The pay range for this position is $77,172 - $225,986. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
