 As the Manager, SEO you will: 
  • Client Management & Leadership: Craft and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with the organization’s marketing objectives and target audience needs. Stay ahead of SEO trends and algorithm updates to adapt strategies as needed.

  • Client Onboarding & Transitions: Oversee client onboarding, offboarding, and account transitions, ensuring seamless experiences and maximizing account potential through the introduction of new ideas, strategies, and growth opportunities.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage an SEO team, setting clear goals and KPIs. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in SEO practices.

  • Business Acumen and Financial KPIs: Oversee technical SEO audits and optimizations to enhance website architecture, speed, and mobile responsiveness. Collaborate with web development teams to implement necessary changes.

  • Innovation and Thought Leadership: Work closely with content teams to guide keyword research, content optimization, and the development of SEO-friendly content. Ensure content strategy aligns with SEO goals and user search intent.

  • Client Education: Equip clients with the knowledge and confidence to speak about strategic directions and decisions, reinforcing their trust in our expertise.

  • Industry Expertise: Maintain and apply an in-depth knowledge of market developments, emerging trends, and best practices of the client’s business, and the industry overall, to enhance client strategies and recommendations

  • Channel Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices. Champion the adoption of innovative SEO tactics and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Professional Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in SEO roles with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns

  • Management experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated success analyzing data and using analytics tools to drive marketing decisions

  • Advanced computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively across clients, multiple partner relationships, and internal initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external and internal teams.

 

The annual base salary range for this roles' listed level is currently $90,000-$95,000 plus performance bonus of up to 10%.  Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
