The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and energetic professional to join our team as an SAP Finance (FI/CO) Functional Analyst. This role requires a motivated individual who thrives on taking responsibility and tackling challenges in unfamiliar areas. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SAP CO and FI modules, including Banking and Tax, as well as the FI subledgers for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Fixed Assets (FA). A thorough understanding of financial operating processes and their interaction with other SAP modules such as HR, Materials Management (MM), Project Systems (PS), and Sales & Distribution (SD) is essential.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day SAP production support to meet business needs and ensure system efficiency.

  • Deliver solutions that meet customer requirements, adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and comply with applicable regulations such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).Act in a functional capacity with the expectation of supporting Business Processes in conjunction with system requirements for multiple areas of SAP

  • Function as a subject matter expert in supporting business processes and aligning them with system requirements across multiple SAP modules.

  • Work with a broad multi-disciplined user base to support system change requirements, develop functional specifications and ensure project execution

  • Provide expertise throughout the SAP FI-CO functional lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.

  • Monitor deliverables, respond to ad-hoc requests, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically a minimum of 8+ years’ experience supporting or using financial software applications and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science (STEM) or related field or equivalent combination of work experience and schooling in lieu of degree or minimum of 5+ years and an advanced degree

  • Hands-on expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with working knowledge of Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and HR modules.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to address complex challenges and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Demonstrated experience across the IT lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, change management, and system optimization.

  • Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Sarbanes Oxley

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in cost and financial accounting within the defense or aerospace industry

  • Functional finance experience with a focus on SAP

  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead ad-hoc initiatives, particularly during critical project phases.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.

  • Global SAP deployment and implementation experience

Work Location: This position is classified as:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
