As a QA Manager, you will manage Quality Assurance professionals who work with software engineers, content developers, artists, project managers, and producers to create value for Players around the world. You will be guided by Riot's Test Policy to develop quality activities for every stage of the software development life cycle.  Additionally, you will partner with your team, Product leadership, and other craft leaders to arrive at more efficient solutions to everyday problems and improve delivery. You will also direct and task other QA professionals, often remotely, to get your work completed.

As a Manager, QA on the Research & Development team, you will manage the quality assurance efforts across multiple initiatives and teams within an unannounced game. You’ll use your seasoned expertise to balance both creative and technical quality challenges while growing and managing other QA professionals in an empathetic and professional environment. You will report to the Director of QA on the game.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage QA professionals on multiple teams across multiple locations
  • Help architect and maintain a quality organization
  • Hire and retain qualified talent
  • Build quality and player impact into the development and decision making processes for teams
  • Develop and guide testing strategies throughout the software development life cycle
  • Create and track quality metrics and hold parties accountable to meeting them
  • Identify risks, impact, probability, and plan mitigation
Required Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of professional quality assurance experience, with experience in a leadership role in the games industry
  • 1+ years of professional experience managing QA professionals
  • Experience working with product quality development pipelines and workflows
  • Experience working on strategic goal setting and an understanding of what successful tactical execution looks like
  • Experience working on performance management
  • Experience working with remote testing teams
  • Experience with multi-platform development
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and shipping one multi-platform console title
  • Experience working with test automation
  • Preferred licenses/certifications:
  • Preferred experience working with game engines
