The Fire Control Radar Products (FCRP) team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated finance manager to join as the Lead for the F/A-18 Radar Production portfolio.

You will be a key member, overseeing all financial aspects and supporting the Program director, program manager and other functional leads in program execution and capture activities. This position is responsible for developing and communicating the monthly forecasts and the associated risk & opportunities to both the FCRP Navy and FCRP leadership teams. Other activities include helping to lead the team in updating the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP).

This role will perform RPLM gate activities, quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), funding and cash flow analysis, balance sheet management, staffing analysis, and other financial control activities, as well as manage a 1 financial analyst. The successful candidate will need to be able to work across a matrixed organization to effectively analyze and message financial results.

This position is currently designated as Onsite. However, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from our El Segundo, CA location.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for program controls, customer financial / funding reporting, quarterly EACs, internal financial performance reporting, financial forecast (including AOP and LRP), and workforce planning.
  • Support proposals and contract negotiation activities.
  • Manage direct report including providing training, assignment, and career development opportunities. Identify program finance staffing needs and facilitate hiring/ onboarding of new employees as needed. 
  • Facilitate performance development process and timecard approval.
  • Top candidates will raise the performance level of their team and provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making. 
  • You will balance competing priorities and interact with various levels of the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience leading high performing/high visibility teams.
  • Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module, Business Warehouse or similar system.
  • Experience in Program cost schedule and control, financial planning, or similar role.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with DoD contract financing and billing.
  • Experience in annual CSDR, CDRL reporting.
  • R6Sigma / CORE Specialist or familiarity with Six Sigma / CORE processes.
  • Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures.
  • Self-starter highly motivated with a positive "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills required.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience presenting to leadership and peers.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
