NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

The Manager, Product Sales Growth partners with Member Experience RVP's to drive strategic product engagement, improve sales conversions, and deepen local market communication through the execution of localized retail marketing programs across all regions of AAA MWG. This role is responsible for developing local media plans, managing agency relationships, and reporting performance results to RVP and C-Suite audiences to ensure alignment with overall product media strategies. By maintaining a focus on non-digital sales channels, the manager ensures that all sales tools and programs optimize the customer experience while translating sales and industry data into a cohesive retail strategy that improves discoverability and unlocks new growth opportunities. Additionally, the role collaborates with sales operations and analytics to track performance, maximize the output of Media Marketing Mix tools, and provide accurate forecasting to drive spend strategies and improve ROI across retail and call center channels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Sales Engagement Strategy & Product Leadership
    • Leading sales acquisition and engagement strategy by developing strategic initiatives across all 7 of MWG regions
    • Development and management of membership marketing and sales programs to drive traffic and increase new transactions across our call center and retail locations.
    • Lead agency management to ensure sales and local campaigns align with the overall product media strategy, efficiencies and drives results driving end of year business goals.
  • Sales Channel Optimization & Strategic Partnerships
    • Implementing new sales opportunities for existing non-digital sales channels, and future new sources for local growth.
    • Optimizing content and campaigns for driving more retail engagement and improved new member conversion.
  • Analysis, Reporting & People Leadership
    • Partnering with sales operations, and analytics to report, track and improve MoM performance across non-digital channels.
    • Partner with Director on the ongoing efforts to maximize output and interpretation of the Media Marketing Mix tool to drive spend strategies and improve ROI across regions and retail/call center channels.
    • Assist the Director in providing key metrics, forecasting accuracy, and building annual/quarterly plans for VP & C-Suite management.
    • Overseeing a team of a Senior Product Marketer & Associate Product Marketer that support non-digital sales channels and initiatives

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to develop detailed product plan by region, and by channel to align local initiatives with broader corporate objectives
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to balance creativity and pragmatism.
  • Proven ability to navigate a high degree of ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic narratives for various stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Comfortable in budgeting, partnering with key financial stakeholders, manage a sheet analysis, and ROI calculation to manage a region's overall performance and report to Director on an ongoing basis
  • Industry-Specific Knowledge: Deep understanding of regional market trends, competitor activity, and relevant regulations within the insurance and subscription based industries

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 5+ experience in various forms of marketing disciplines and retail management, media mix optimization; agency management preferably with a background in membership, loyalty or insurance.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00- Max: $198,697.00
